Ponca Motel

The room was small but it was great. It smelled nice, it was clean, and updated. It doesn’t look like much on the outside but it was better than several places that I had paid more to stay at.

Room had dirt and hair all over the floors. Hairs in the bed when i pulled back the blankets. Towels were stained with brown and black spots. Was very surprised that i did not find any bugs. There was left over food in the freezer. Sink water kept coming out the bottom of the sink if i had water running more than 30 seconds. Room and bathroom smelt like mildew. And worst of all i paid $100 a night plus $90 in fees. There is also no where to park and if you park next door you will get threatened to have your vehicle towed by a hostile Indian manager. Also train going by 200ft away pretty much every 4 hours all night long honking its horn for 30 seconds straight. If your reading this it is not worth the time and money. It is %100 worth spending the extra 20-30$ a night to get probably any other place in abilene. Heed my warning or else you will find out the hard way lol

This is the worst hotel we have ever tried to stay in, and the only one we have ever left. there are several reasons: 1) There was virtually no parking except in a busy alley-like setting and we almost got hit twice by other cars. 2) The door to our room was very dented as though it had been severely beaten on. 3) The floor in our room was dirty and fixtures were chipped, worn out, and desparetly needed replaced. 4) The bed sheets were so badly stained there is no way we could lay in them. We felt like we needed a shower just from walking in the room and pulling the bed covers down. We decided to leave and asked for a refund which was refused. Wasted money, but still no amount could make us feel safe staying there. We got a room at another hotel and immediatley washed up.

We drove by the place and it was so horrific we canceled immediately.

They are renovating their rooms. The new rooms are awesome. The new pictures match the room looks. Its was great staying here. They are working on getting the exterior updated too Everything was good.

This was the worst property I’ve ever seen. There was nothing we liked about the property refusing to stay there. I felt unsafe after being approached by another guest who was asking for food.

Nothing, not even close to advertisement

The price relative to other motels. VERY sketchy area. Property is being renovated so new floor had drywall mud and paint splattered all over. No trashcan in the room at all. Bathroom had no countertop. Shower has huge rain head in a small corner shower so couldn’t escape the downpour. Shower hand sticks out halfway in to the shower. This isn’t their fault but the train runs across the street and came thru twice in the night blasting its horn.

Room was clean and comfortable, I enjoyed my stay as it is close to some nice restaurants and local scenery definitely recommend
