The Envoy Hotel

I liked the friendly and attentive staff The facilities were subpar and the finishes of the room were poor. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, needs remodeling asap. Curtains in the room are dirty. Room was decent.

The hotel was well situated to access the airport and a nearby conference venue. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. We booked from the night before our 6/7am arrival to ensure our rooms were available when we got there. When we arrived we found our rooms had been cancelled and resold as we had not checked in, despite no contact being made to confirm if we would be arriving still. The manager informed us we would not be charged for the first night, but we were subsequently charged 50% as an early check-in fee for the subsequent night. The mix up and subsequent reneging of the first night's charge was very disappointing.

The room was spacious, beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly. The hotel was safe also being in the diplomatic area. Breakfast buffet and room service menu need more varieties. Internet speed requires little more attention.

Location was good for getting round the embassies. Easy to get to from the airport. Area felt safe. Room was big and clean, staff were all very helpful. The burger was good.

Safe location and secure. I'm glad that their customer service manager and the chef apologised for the complaints reported but still had housekeeping hiccups later on. Room cleanliness can be an issue in this hotel. I had dust bins not emptied for 3 days and had to demand my room to be cleaned at 9Pm on my last night after they ignored cleaning it for a couple of days during my stay there, despite leaving the clean my room tag on my door. They have little breakfast options - not for a 5-star hotel, and most of their food, bacon, chicken, and vegetables are overcooked.

The food I ordered from the restaurant was great! The room was quite spacious and the bathroom was spacious as well. The hotel is located opposite the US embassy and there is a visible security presence. It is quiet so if you do not like large crowds then it is a great choice. The check-in experience was not great. The guy at the reception did not have a warm and welcoming attitude. The breakfast options were not that great although the food itself was great. Just that the options are somewhat limited.

Location, close to work place. Safe and secure. Pool area and small gym. Nice bar on a first floor. Constant begging for tips by the staff. Almost always same breakfast. Really, really expensive for what you get. Access cards demagnetized too many times.

Rooms are spacious, bed and pillows are comfortable. The restaurant has good dinner options and the breakfast spread is good. The staff are friendly and service is good The internet in very poor and keep on disconnecting multiple times once connected, both on the phone and laptop while the restaurant has no internet access at all. You really need to improve on the internet

Great location, spacious, well appointed rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Very safe and secure with awesome pool, gym and bars. Breakfast is small, however the quality makes up for it.

Location, quiet, clean and tidy. No bath in the bathroom.
