The terrace

We had a great 4 night stay at Hotel Oviv! The hotel renovation was done with great care and kept the period and feel of the castle intact. The views were amazing from our terrace. The views from the breakfast terrace were also amazing providing a serene spot to enoy our breakfast. Camilla is a very gracious host. We enjoyed chatting with her and getting her advice. We especially enjoyed breakfast with her delicious fresh baked cakes each day. Naturally we ate a bit too much each morning but it was vacation. Thank you Camilla for a wonderful time!

The ancient Borgo of Acquaviva is amasing and the hotel exactly in the atmosphere of the place. Camilla the host is really friendly and professional. A yummy breakfast, all homemade and really tasty! Nothing!

Historic hotel in an even more historic building which is part of the walls of the town. Recently renovated and reopened by a mother/daughter partnership. N/a

Stunning and very charming historic accomodation, newly refurbished, very clean. Adorable decor, nice fragrance in the air and very comfortable beds. Welcome water bottles in the fridge. Kind staff, attentive to lactose intolerance although only on sweet options, lovely home made cakes, cereals, bread, fresh peaches and melon, yogurt available. Would need a couple more sockets in the room, to be able to plug in devices (lamp, phone, laptop, appliances simultaneously) As for breakfast i would have appreciated some savoury option (eggs for example) and moka coffee which also I would find more suited to the environment.

Acquaviva Picena is a beautiful and quiet hilltop village just inland from bustling coastal resorts like Grottamare and San Benedetto, but infinitely preferable. The Hotel Oviv is a gorgeous historic building and we were welcomed warmly by Camilla. The room was enormous, the bed too and very comfortable indeed, the bathroom spacious and well-equipped. But the highlight was the 'balcony'(as advertised) which turned out to be a wonderful terrace with panoramic 180-degree views to the sea and towards the setting sun. The village is fabulous and friendly, with a great locanda 50 paces from the Hotel (whose restaurant is closed (Aug 2023) pending a new chef - anyone?). Town highlight was the travelling family circus that appeared at 5pm, performed after dark and disappeared by midnight like a magical pumpkin. Highly recommend this lovely place. The local church bells were about 11 minutes late each strike! ;)

The breakfast was very good. The bathrooms had a bad smell.

A jewel of a place with a stunning breakfasst balcony Super central in the middle of a totally charming medival village which has been restored impeccarbly The staff are super friendly and positive And breakfast had an excellent bespoke bacon and eggs included A place to switch off relax wherw you can find 3.4 excellent restaurants in the village itself Nb Its traffic free si 150 meters to the front door on foot Brilliant for walking , serious bikers, sea front 20 minutes away Nb the bedrooms may seem small as listed but we found them absolutely ok Moden new bathrooms very customer oriented Nothing all all ok Nb No lift - so i would not advise for very elderly Plenty of space to relax , write , draw, research- inside or out
