Denver Boutique Hotel

Starting from the rude receptionist; Specifically one lady. Dirty old room. Room service ask you do you want cleaning after going three days in the raw without cleaning. Broken TV. No shampoo or conditioner. No tea at all or breakfast!!! Really!!! And the audacity of them asking to pay 27$ a day for a night “not equivalent in BIRR in DOLLARS” you would expect to get a top notch service. I gave them my laundry and I checked them days later. 90% of my clothes got shrunk and tight and one short was tore and placed between clothes so that I couldn’t find it until days later!! When I told the rude receptionist about the damage in my all clothes because of the high heat that was used, she lied and told me they didn’t use any heat to dry them. Ok it has been damaged by itself! No responsibility at all when damaging people’s properties!!! Unfortunately, I extended my stay beforehand but I learned my lesson the hard way.

The windows were filthy, the shower was defective, and the sink drain was clogged. The people were nice and the price was good.

Adequate hotel. Reasonable value... On top floors of tall building. Difficult to find - no sign.

It is not an hotel but a nightclub. Impossible to sleep because of the very very laugh music. And they didn't do anything to help us! And because it is a nightclub, it is a whore house... Not a good place for a family with children!!!

I liked the location (on a main street near restaurants and shops, plus in easy walking distance of The National Museum) and the price. The hotel had good security so I felt comfortable staying there alone and the staff was incredibly helpful anytime I asked about something. I loved that they provided an airport shuttle so I didn't have to figure that out on my own. The room was clean and well-stocked and the bed was very comfortable. I didn't have a chance to use it, but there's a restaurant on-site that provides room service. The hotel was run down. The rooms were kept clean, but the towels were old (dingy) and the door to my shower didn't close fully making it easy to flood the bathroom. The hallways often had food lying out (from uneaten room service) for long enough to attract bugs. Not the nicest hotel option in the area, but decent for the price and particular location.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very comfy beds. Attentive service to the room with clean towels and bottled water. Airport shuttle pick up and drop off was on time, friendly, and helpful with the luggage. Thumbs up! We felt very safe at the Denver Hotel. I especially liked that the elevators needed a special key to use. Restaurant on premises had good food at a reasonable price. The drain in the shower wasn’t draining properly which caused a lot of water on the floor.

Clean, location, pizza was nice No cosmetics at all; soaps are that don't go with this luxury hotel, one bed not enough for couples. Cocktails were not that much good,

The hotel advertises free airport shuttle, but doesn't actually offer it.

The location and the kind service The noise of the nightclub on the 4th floor. On Saturdays it is loud, even on the 8th floor. However, after asking whether the music could be turned down in the following days, the noise became much less. Service so was really good!

Food was in the Moutain Restaurant on the floor below the Reception and I am not clear how it was related to the hotel. The service was friendly but slow, the food poor and the music - even when there were few people eating was far too loud. The lift failed a couple of times not good if you are on the 7th floor. The lighting in the room was poor. Neither bedside lights worked and I asked these to be checked which was not done. There was no hand rail on the stairs to the front door - but this is a general failing and a lack of appreciation of older guest's needs.

The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean and also there was a fridge. The receptionists are not warm, the cleaners do not clean the bathroom well, false advertisement because they mentioned that there’s a kettle in the room and also free breakfast but there wasn’t. The room doesn’t have sufficient lighting, some of the bulbs don’t work and also their draining system is bad because when you’re taking a shower, the water doesn’t go down the drain easily. The access card also has problems. Too much noise in the area

Problem with door

Location and restaurant facility. I was promised room with hot tub and AC but non was there in any room. Room Description is incorrect and deliberately inflated. There was no shampoo in the bathroom and told it is not provided.

When I arrived, I was asked to pay right away, even before seeing my room. The electricity in my room wasn't working so, in the dark, I wasn't able to take a shower after a seven hour flight from Paris. I was also told it was impossible to get a cup of coffee in the hotel. The view from my room was over a very sad and very poor shanty town. All this lead me to change hotel immediately. I left afround 5 p:m and didn't sleep in Denver Hotel. Is there a possibility that I could be refunded ? I am an old customer of Booking ! No welcome except to ask me to pay my bill immediately. No electricity in the room. No possibility to have even a cup of coffee !
