The Franklin Hotel

The rooms are wonderfully designed and very funky. Large too! I loved the special touches: goodie bag & a fridge with "free" extra's to enjoy. Super friendly bar staff who went beyond to help. My coffee machine didn't appear to work!! Whaaaaaaaa. Also not a lot of bench / storage space in the bathroom for toiletries or to get yourself ready. Everything else was great.

Awesome place. The staff were amazing & the room & bathroom were great.

Friendly staff great food and good amount of it, Being able to order food for certain time. Warm feel and character with original staircase and doors. Books to borrow, reading nook with good light. Has a very personal inviting appeal. Within walking distance to Central Market for great fresh food.

Great location, spacious and comfortable The room, including bathroom was cold (high ceilings makes warming up much harder), no elevator, and a bit noisy (music at night and cars/trucks in the morning)

It was stunning! So well thought out and beautifully presented. Nothing.

Exceptional

It was comfortable, clean and central. The owner went the extra mile by keeping a suitcase for 10 days while we travelled which, apparently, is not the norm!

It has a particular style. Room was big and clean. They have some drinks and snacks that make you feel welcome. Bringing the luggage downstairs was hard.

The pub downstairs is the first point of call. As soon as I arrived I felt a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The room upstairs was beautiful. Lots of thought and care has gone into the design and comfort of this space. A perfect location for access to the city, Adelaide market, restaurants and transport options. Meals at the Franklin Boutique Hotel were delicious.

check in was easy nothing was a problem for the staff. the room was quiet the facilities were great While there was a selection of tea in the room there could of been a few more than 2 teabags of each type in the room for those that prefer more than the odd cup of tea.

Complimentary soft drink-beer-biscuits. Big bath & hot water. Quaint & full of life Parking !!!!

Clean comfortable. Friendly staff. Convenient to the bus station Shower. Took long timefor hot water to arrive. Shower floor flooded to point almost reaching the door. Seems a bit overpriced in respect to the condition of facility. Shower floor, step up to bathroom etc. But suited my needs

Right opposite the Adelaide Bus Station, so excellent location to get to early coach pick up. The hotel is more a 'pub with accommodation', rather than a hotel. It is not a "boutique" hotel, is not called the Franklin Boutique any longer, just "The Franklin Hotel"....

The staff were exceptional and were so kind and helpful If you like small, personal and boutique hotel ... this is the place to stay Fabulous location Beautiful accomodation Delicious food Nothing could be better Nothing
