I just wrapped up a solo trip through Greece, and my stay at Hotel Dimitra was honestly one of the highlights of the entire journey. If you’re a woman traveling alone and looking for somewhere that feels both safe and special, look no further. From the moment I arrived, Thanassis made me feel completely at home. He went out of his way — genuinely out of his way — to make sure I had everything I needed, from local tips to the warmest welcome I could have asked for. That kind of hospitality is rare, and it set the tone for my entire stay on Naxos. The location is unbeatable. You’re just steps from Agios Prokopios, routinely ranked among the best beaches in the world — soft white sand, turquoise water, and none of the chaos you’d expect from a “famous” beach. Chora, Naxos’s main town, is about 25 minutes away, but don’t let that put you off. The local bus makes it effortless to hop into town for dinner or exploring, and coming back to Agios Prokopios in the evening — away from the tourist crowds — was honestly the best part of each day. You get the charm of Naxos without the noise. This is a true boutique hotel in every sense: intimate, thoughtfully run, and full of personal touches you just don’t get at bigger resorts. As a solo female traveler, I felt looked after the entire time without ever feeling hovered over. I’d recommend Hotel Dimitra without hesitation to any woman traveling alone who wants comfort, safety, and a genuine connection with the people hosting her. Thank you, Thanassis and the whole Dimitra team — I’ll be back. Nothing

The air conditioning. The Pool. The location was absolutely perfect - very close to the cafes and the beach and the bus stop. The owner and family were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good, but my group wanted to go to the local cafés for breakfast so we only had breakfast at the hotel one day. My group included two women and three teenage girls. Having only one bathroom was not ideal. After traveling in Greece, a little bit more I’ve come to realize that is not unusual.

Nice clean modest hotel with good pool area and attentive hosts in a great location just a short walk to the beach and around the corner from one of Naxos’ best tavernas (Giannoulis). Good air conditioning. Will return. No, it’s not right on the beach but it’s very very close and a great value.

Location, quiet, facilities, breakfast and Dimitri were all perfect

Proximity to the airport - room was comfortable and clean. Loved the food - nice to be able to sit outside the restaurant in a quieter lobby area for dinner.

This hotel was very centrally located but was still quiet and away from the main road ! They had a big lot so parking was easy for the rental car and the place is absolutely beautiful. Spacious and clean rooms with a balcony !

The owners - Dimitri & Thanassis were unbelievable! So kind, hospitable and accommodating! We will stay here again! We loved everything!

Excellent family owned and operated hotel in Agios Prokopios. They made all of the hotel guests feel like family. Owner helped with many accommodations including transport to/from port, recommended sights, car rental, and laundry service. We had an amazing vacation and will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to return to Naxos.

The room was great for our family of 5. The pool was excellent. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the island. The location was convenient to the main strip and to the beach. There was parking available for our vehicle. Would highly recommend this hotel! It did not have a view of the beach but the pool view was wonderful!

The staff were fantastic. They greeted us with open arms on the first day and made it clear that they were willing to go above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and excellent stay from the first minute we got there. Our room was cleaned daily, they were always there for in-person requests or a quick phone call, and overall the room was always clean, sanitary, and put together.

Excellent location, just minutes from the beach on a quiet street. The hotel proprietors were super welcoming and friendly, and gave us many tips on making the most of our time in Naxos. The cleaning staff was excellent, too! Highly recommend.

Dimitra Hotel is in the perfect spot in Agios Prokopios. Very close to the beach and restaurants without being too noisy or on a main road with heavy traffic. But the best part of our experience were the staff. Dimitra Hotel is a family-run operation and Thenasis greeted us so warmly that we felt immediately at home. Dionissia also helped us enormously and was warm and friendly with her advice. They serve a lovely breakfast each morning (which is a little extra but optional) and there’s a full bar on the property if you need anything at all. The pool was beautifully clean and refreshing and the beach is only a few minutes walk. Truly this was our favorite accommodation in all of Greece ?? Nothing
