Stunning views of the ocean from this hilltop property, Top notch breakfast, super friendly & helpful staff, old world charm of walking streets in this area (castle hilltop of Agropoli) far away from the tourist crowds. The French have an expression for places like this: “C’est un Village” - literally It is a Village - which is a dire warning of just how inaccessible it is by automobile. Highly recommend against roller bags, stick to hand held luggage. The parking lot is 3 blocks of stairs away from the property, is often overflowing, and accessible only via harrowingly steep hairpin turns. The staff can arrange a parking pass, but if full, parking illegally here is guaranteed to fetch you a 30 Euro fine.

Room with sea view; modern and clean decor; professional and responsive staff Room for 3 people was a bit small

This place was one of my favorite spots in our three week stay in . From the wonderful people at the front desk to the staff that prepared breakfast ,to those who kept the rooms clean we were met with smiles and kindness. Everyone we met was wonderful. Now the view from our room was to die for I can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this place it’s like a hidden jewel.

Location at the centro storico. Control of room temperature. Host. Quiet. Bed. Clean. Room size. WiFi. Ck-in/Ck-out process. Being at the centro storico, mind that parking is 200 meters from the property: 100 uphill and 100 downhill. Pack light.

borgo dei saraceni was such a sweet surprise for us arriving in agropoli. they contacted us before hand to tell us where to park and arranged for free parking. it’s in the historical area which is super sweet! a bit of a walk and some stairs. the b and b itself is gorgeous with a view from your room that catches your breath! a huge window/door to gaze out of right from your bed. the room is large and clean and decorated with antiques and art. we used the upstairs terrace for having a glass of prosecco and a rest. even more stunning from up there! on a sunny day, this vista would be mind-blowingly beautiful, seeing as far as the amalfi coast and the islands. breakfast was wonderful, lovingly prepared and presented by two sweet women who run the kitchen. sitting in the citrus garden over looking that vista, sipping cappuccino and nibbling on home-made tortes, dreamy! there were also fruits, yogurt, cereals, eggs, juices, meats and cheeses and croissants available. the alleyway right out front has a few great cafes and gelato hangs. we were serenaded at the first cafe going downhill, by a young fisherman who played and sang beautifully, and not for money, just for the love of his music. lots of generous characters in this lane way and so many gorgeous vistas. if you go to agropoli, don’t miss Paestum, an unbelievably intact site of greek temples. enjoy! i just think a kettle and a couple of mugs with tea bags or instant coffee would be nice in the rooms. seems like this is not available in many of the rooms we have stayed in tho. it’s just nice to be able to make a beverage when you arrive after a long day of travel. that said, there were some things you coukd buy from the mini bar available.

The breakfast was more than I was expecting. The food was so fresh and the coffee was great. They were very kind and friendly people. The view we had every morning in the terrace was amazing. I will miss this place. Nothing , everything was great

The property is a good location. They offered free parking and the ability to drop your bags at the hotel. The breakfast looked wonderful but we could not enjoy because we are early risers and used this location for day trips. Breakfast was from 8:30-10:30 which is too late. Should be moved up to 7:30 The property is very old and needs updating. The bed was uncomfortable and the bathroom needs refurbishing

Breakfast was lovely and location was excellent too!

The staff were very communicative. I spent my birthday weekend here and also informed the staff of the weekend plans and the extra little touches offered were very thoughtful.

The location was also great and was a good way to burn off the pizza you ate in the new town! The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accessible. The hot water was an issue when I arrived and didn't get that hot, but they fixed that the next day. Workers were there installing a new boiler, so that's not an issue going forward. It would be nice to have a safe in the room. I feel that's pretty standard these days. Breakfast was minimal, but the cappuccino was good, and they were very friendly.

The location in Old Town was wonderful. No automobile traffic. The parking was near enough to be reasonable. My usual issue, being tall, with low doorways in many of the old buildings.

Great location in the old town, very sweet little guest house, very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views from terrace and outside breakfast area. The boiled eggs at breakfast were very overcooked - but the homemade cakes on the other hand were delicious!
