Hotel Serenella

Location was perfect. Right on the beach with parking adjacent to the buiilding. Sea views were as good as they get. The breakfast was great too. Outdoor furniture for the balcony would have been perfect. Even plastic furniture. Two chairs and a small table to set your drinks and enjoy the 5 star view, listen to the waves and the bustle of street, etc.

Close to the beach The air conditioner did not work in the room. I went to the night clerk who came to my room to try to fix it but could not. Was a sweaty night. In the morning I went to the front desk to ask for another room but she called me a liar and said it did work! I was shocked! I asked for the manger and he threatened me with violence and the police if I did not stop complaining. He said I could stay in the hot room or leave. I left.

The room is quite small and not very clean; there were traces of dust on the table, and the sockets were in poor condition. Breakfast is included in the room rate, but it's not very good. One day, I had scrambled eggs for breakfast, which gave me diarrhea.

It was great located and I guess it’s a good value for money It’s quite old and bed is super small (like for kids). Shower didn’t really work properly

The location: Oh MY God! It was right in front of the water. It was so beautiful. And it had everything it said it would. The cleaning people were very nice. I found one of the employees at reception a bit cold. I suppose it's a tough job though: having to always be "on". The other employees were better, but my interactions with the one at the beginning left a bad feeling in me. In general, I found the cleaning people warmer and nicer than those at reception.

The location was right across the street from the beach in a good location. There was many good restaurants in walking distance. Breakfast was very good. The view and the sunset was absolutely stunning. The hotel staff was very helpful. I can’t say that there was anything I didn’t like.

Somehow I had the most outstanding sleep there. Breakfast selection gets limited after 8am. Rooms are rather basic.

Breakfast was buffet with several choices , we enjoyed it. Seemed fresh and delicious coffee . The hotel is right across the road from the beach , which has umbrellas and lounges for rent . It was maybe a kilometre walk to the town centre . Buses available for travelling or a train station . Room was cleaned really well each day . Staff nice . Our bed wasn’t comfortable , I felt like I was rolling into the middle all night and the air conditioning wouldn’t come on so the room was a bit too warm some nights , we left the balcony doors open as it felt like a fairly safe area . The shower was a bit small and the doors wouldn’t shut properly so there was a lot of leaking . But it all worked fine .

Oceam View during breakfast All good, but hotel doesn't offer real atmosphere, more like I have seen it from business hotels. Double bed are two separate mattresses, which I would not expect for a hotel with that price range.

It was very clean. And the location across the street from the beach is nice. It was a little sterile and noisy from the bar at night.
