The property is in decent shape, not run down, carefully decorated, and well located, very close to the beach. The restaurant was good, and the maître d‘ was amazing - friendly and knowledgeable. He made our stay - and celebration - very nice. As regards the five stars, the hotel is definitely not that. The staff is friendly, but not entirely up to a five star hotel. They forgot things we had booked for the celebration - they did charge for it, made suggestions that were not customer friendly, had difficulties explaining the charges - customer experience definitely needs improvement. They were very accommodating with the check-in and with organizing everything last minute.

This seaside hotel was charming and historic. We had a sea view room with balcony. Nice spa facilities. Hotel staff were great, helpful and friendly- helped us with e-bike rentals. Restaurant on site. Very comfortable bedding. Chrystal chandeliers and elegant small details throughout the hotel added to the appeal. Small room and bathroom. Room temperature was difficult to regulate and room was quite warm. At this price point, Smart TV with more capability is expected.

+ The location of this hotel was great, and the hotel itself was very charming + The food was diverse, delicious, and fresh + The balcony and the view were outstanding - The Gym could be a bit bigger and better equipped. - The room could be cleaned more thoroughly. - The guests of this hotel are mainly white, upper-class Germans/Europeans, and as "persons of color," even though we did not feel discriminated against, we did not feel welcomed.

A romantic hotel in a picturesque location with beautiful and lavish interior design. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating, the food was amazing, and we really enjoyed the spa area with different kinds of sauna. For us, it was the perfect place for a short weekend getaway!
