This family-run hotel is located directly on Seebad Ahlbeck’s Strand Promenade along Usedom's sandy beach. Hotel Residenz WALDOASE is surrounded by woodland and offers free WiFi, bicycle rental and 2 sunny terraces. All rooms include classic furnishings and a modern private bathroom. Guests are welcome to use the hotel’s own beach chairs and to spend a relaxing evening in the lounge, complete with fireplace. Almost all rooms offer a forest view. The hotel's conservatory restaurant and Residenz Waldoase café offer everything from seafood dishes to homemade cakes. Guests are invited to dine on the terrace in warm weather. The hotel is surrounded by bike routes and bikes are provided by Hotel Residenz WALDOASE on request. Various bars and clubs are within walking distance.

Amazing place to stay!

I especially enjoyed the service and the meal at the restaurant. The food was well prepared and delicious. A pity we were there only on Sat. Not much to dislike.

The location is perfect. a very short walk and you are on the beach. It is nice to be a little way out of town but Ahleck is easily reached by foot or bike along the Strandpromenade. Lovely setting. The WLAN (wifi) was useless. It runs over a hotspot that barely worked, I feel it would be more honest to say no WLAN. I think being charged for parking is a bit much, there are no alternative parking places as it is a little off the beaten track. I would be better to include in the room rate rather than charge extra. Breakfast was nice but for the offering a little overpriced.

The location is amazing, really peaceful in the woods and right next to the beach but still close to everything. The cabin we stayed in was perfect - everything had been thought of in advance so you feel very welcome, and the staff were all lovely. I would be very happy to come back! The beds are quite uncomfortable.

Nice looking hotel with vast territory, very good breakfasts and direct exit to the public beach. The beach is just perfect - wide, clean, with almost white sand. Bungalow (56m2, ground floor) was spacious enough, with everything we needed on the kitchen and with full set of beds for four people. On the territory you have a playground and an outlet cafe with ice cream and very delicious cakes. We had no issues storing our sup boards, baby stroller and other stuff outside the house. There is a hanger to dry clothes outside too (under a balcony in a dry place). All in all, Ahlbeck is a place we want to return to! First and foremost - mosquitos! We were there end of August on a not so warm and windless week. And, with the hotel residing in a wood, mosquitos were just everywhere. The first thing we did upon arrival - rushed to the supermarket (5-15 mins drive) to buy lots of repellents, and we used them to the last drop! If you’re as sensitive to bites as we are, choose a hotel within the city limits - there are much less insects there. Then, shower equipment - it worked and smelled bad. Third, there was no washing machine in the house, but we’d love to have one as we stayed there for 8 nights. Wi-Fi was good enough for work (corporate VPN, internet, audio calls). Video calls were not possible in most cases. But of course all this is bearable, you get used to it to the 3rd day.
