It was in a convenient location to restaurants and not too far from USC-Aiken where we were checking in our college student. Bfst was avg at best.

Nicole WAS AMAZING. She deserves a RAISE or a BONUS. She is the nicest person I have ever met in a Hotel. She was courteous no matter what time of day it was. She was smiling and helpful anytime I walked through the door. When we chatted is was just really NICE! I miss her already! Give my regards to her and the staff that I said Hi - Especially Nicole Tell her I will see her soon! The breakfast could have had a different yogurt and strawberry jelly. A variation of Bagels.

Room 105 - excellent in terms of check in, friendly front desk staff, room cleanliness, bed/pillows were excellent, adequate towels, ability to walk dog near green space, and breakfast. The dial in the center of the water control knob fell off and was difficult to replace.

Hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. Their actions made the stay more enjoyable.

I only checked in and walked back out in less than 5 minutes. It was too unsanitary to consider placing my luggage down; therefore, I am awaiting the full refund as the images were misleading upon my arrival. Although the hotel is labeled “Garner by IHG,” I should’ve been alarmed by the label “Sleep Inn,” displayed on my caller ID as I was driving to the location to confirm that I was still en route to check in. Apparently, this hotel had undergone a name change but no obvious renovations/updates were present. Upon entry, the lobby reeked of cigarette smoke and due to the appearance of the lobby, I asked to view the room and once I entered, I saw multiple stains on the sheets, walls and an actual bug crawling on the sheet. As an avid traveler for work, I keep my own Lysol spray and wipes, but this was beyond reparation. On “white” linen, it’s hard to fabricate. I checked out immediately and requested a refund. If management continues to delay this process, I will more than gladly discuss this with my bank as sanitation is a bare minimum. As I walked back down to the lobby to cancel this reservation, the clerk asked if I wanted a “room change…” which I declined as I would presume the entire facility would look the same. I was utterly disgusted. I didn’t want to post a negative review or pictures, but after multiple attempts of reaching out to management of that location to no avail, I will be taking action via my financial institution.

Location was good. Staff was very. Friendly. Rooms were smaller than we expected but not terrible. Small rooms, breakfast was terrible. Also walked into an extremely humid room. Our sheets and towels were damp due to humidity
