L'Amalgam'

The house is located in a very pretty village and is beautifully decorated. The en-suite room was very comfortable. Set in a beautiful garden with roof top views of the neighbouring chateau.

This place is wonderful. Magili and her husband could not have been more gracious and kind. The breakfasts were the best I have had in the 3 weeks I have been in France and Magili cooked us dinner, which was also excellent. Everything! L'Amalgam is a gem! Our hosts gave us a warm welcome into their lovely home. Our large room had a very comfortable, supportive bed, a roomy ensuite, kettle and nepresso style coffee maker. The garden with pool is delightful; a lovely spot in which to relax after a long drive. Do order dinner if you stay here, it was great! Our food intolerance was very carefully adhered to and we enjoyed a very good meal. Breakfast was also good with jam and honey from the garden. The house is next to a château. Sadly we didn't have time to tour inside but did enjoy a walk around the gardens. Highly recommended The only small thing was that the shower is in a corner bath so a bit more awkward than a walk in shower.

From the minute we were greeted at the front door of this amazing property we knew we were in god hands. A sincere welcome from the owners, who have made such an amazing job of renovating such a wonderful home for themselves and guest suite for their guests. Spotlessly clean and no smoking. Our room was a 5 star suite. Bedding smelt like home and we mented into the bed. Views form windows include a castle and the owners garden that includes bee hives and a large outdoor pool area. An excellent home made meal and wine was provided at a very reasonable additional cost. The food was amazing, including local cheeses and breads. We slept so well and enjoyed a full table of homemade breakfast including honey from the owner's hives. Nothing to dislike at all!

The breakfast was excellent. French cheese and jambon, home made bread and jam, fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt and fruit. It was delightful!

Large, well appointed room in a beautiful house . DELICIOUS breakfast . The Wi-Fi signal in the room could be a little better and we would have preferred a separate shower . Caution if you don’t like dogs there are 4 in residence .

food was great - and the couple who own this are welcoming and truly friendly - loved seeing the bees - so if you need to buy honey don't miss out!!!
