Alb'hotel Grill

The value, room was very clean and the location was not far from the Highway. First of all the Staff at the reception had our reservation wrong and he was not helpful as I had to insist. In our reservation it was clearly indicated that we reserved for 3 adults and kept on insisting that it was only for 2 adults. This really has made the first impression go down the drain. The hallway at the 2nd floor smelled cigarette everywhere. As the hotel is right beside the Autoroute, our room's window was not thick or doubled glaze as we can hear the vehicles in the highway. RECEPTIONIST SHOULD PRACTICE MORE ON HOW TO DEAL WITH CLIENTS AND NOT ARROGANT. Thank you.

The shower room buts its ok.

A great location to stop to break up a long drive which is what we did. A nice pool and outdoor area with their own connecting restaurant. The rooms could have been a bit cleaner and in definite need of a freshen up.

Pool and flexibility to eat breakfast there

Great location to explore the area. Annecy and Le Bourget Du Lac only 20 mins drive. Although the areas of the property is looking a little dated for example the carpets to the upper floors, it would appear that these are currently being upgraded. Excellent breakfast with plenty of selection and they have good restaurant,well priced. There are a few things which would improve the property ie something to boil water in your room and a facility to keep things cool a small fridge for instance. The only other thing i would consider as negative is the cost of charging an electric vehicle which was ten euros for overnight not bad of you have a full electric vehicle but i have a phev which meant fully charged was 10. Euros for 29 mile which worked out expensive. A fairer way would be to have two rates one for full electric and one for hybrids

Clean, reasonably well equipped. Food (omelette) was okay. Incredibly noisy location, squeezed in between motorway and main road. Conversation in the garden and at the terrace of the grill required raised voices. Friendly lady at reception on leaving but very unprofessional staff on arrival. Slightly odd atmosphere.

Nothing special

The hotel is next to the Highway I asked for a groundfloor room within my reservation,but a 1st level room was offered first during check-in. After complaining and an extended discussion the front desk clerk changed it to a groundfloor location. The finally assigned groundfloor room however ,obviously was prior occupied by a heavy smoker. After complaining with the front desk a can of ' Destructeur D'Odeurs' ( Boldair Parfumeur D' Ambiente ' ) was provided.Great!!!!! Anyway, next morning at the check-out a bill of 98 € was provided. After extended investigations on the computer the front dest clerc found my prepaid reservation ,cancelled the initial bill and issued a bill containing 2 glasses of wine ,which was ok. and app.2 € City tax , which however obvously was already paid online together with the room charge. Tiered of annother extended discussion and annother time delay i paid this second bill and off I was. That's my experience with this hotel and appreciate anyones understanding refraining from another booking and a recommondation to friends and family.

Good wifi. Reasonable value for money. Bathroom was not great - shower quite old and in need of an upgrade.

Pool. Clean and tidy Restaurant Breakfast. Poor coffee in main area. Improves with expreso from bar Little bit shabby

No facilities to eat on site as restaurant closed. If I had known this when I booked I would have looked elsewhere. Quite a trek to the local village - where one of the restaurants finished serving at 8pm as they had run out of food.

Practical, and friendly location, no-nonsense hotel, good food Buit noisy outside with a motorway oassing nearby.

odd system to collect keys. we had 3 rooms booked - had to enter pin on vending machine that dropped 1 key. no explanation that keys to the other 2 rooms were in the first room. restaurant and bar limited on Sunday.

Great value for money

Alb Hotel always good, perfect position, quick and nice staff, clean rooms, excellent restaurant. Nothing to add. Perhaps just something missing at breakfast (cheese, cereals , eggs ?)

Staff is amazing! Really welcoming and kind to our dog. Perfect stay if you travel with a pet. Really tasty salad we had for dinner ?! Really poor breakfast, do not recommend
