Dated and worn out. Water from the tap and shower was stinky. Half the buttons didn’t work on the TV remote. Food was excellent.
-
Lake view was excellent, Like the rook patio/Deck.
-
The water park was closed and the restaurant was horrible. They only served a few things that were meant for two people. So my daughter and I had to share a meal. Seems odd!

Well past the days when titans of Minnesota’s top industries would take over the resort to retreat and refocus. Fortunately, they appear to have a new roof on the property securing it from the elements as the new absentee owners decide whether to renovate the expired interior or turn the property into condos. It has lots of potential wrapped in solid eighties personality.

The lake and beach area were very nice. The grounds are not maintained as well as they could be - thistles and weeds everywhere, the mini golf course that was once really cool is now run down and deteriorated. The water park is currently shut down for renovations, so hopefullybthere will be some love given to the outdoor areas soon. The room and inside areas were clean and the resort is very quiet, which is why I'm rating it 4 stars - looking forward to seeing some updates, as the Arrowwod has been the premier resort in the Alexandria area for as long as I can remember.

Friendly and helpful staff

Dated, not well maintained. Could use a complete facelift!
-
The beach area was very nice, but I would suggest getting bathrooms down in that area. Very helpful staff. Nice pool areas… and the water park will be nice when completed.

The water park was closed for renovation. The hot tub was not closed with a sign but had brackish water in it and staff told us not to use it. There were open wires on the down arrow at the top of the elevator door. Everything felt run down and grungy. After over an hour with customer service, the property gave us $25 back and expedia gave us $25 for a future stay. I won't be staying here again. The view was nice though.

It’s a beautiful lake!!! The rooms were nice, clean with a great deck! The property needs some TLC.
-
Everything about this resort is poor. I do not recommend anyone staying here.
-
Mini golf course sucked.

You could tell the property wasn't being maintained to its full potential though. Nothing that interrupted our stay by any means, just lots of weeds, low landscaping, and furniture throughout the hotel in very odd places. The furniture has not been updated in a long time. The vibe was off as well, the restaurants had very low attendance which for a weekend in July seemed weird. Something was just off.
-
The entire facility in almost all aspects is in a desperate need of TLC, to the rooms and facilities.
-
Yikes, do not go here. Completely unkept property and dirty room. For $283/night a complete rip off.
-
Disappointed to say the least. Water park not opened . Severely understaffed and untrained ceilings fell from a broken water pipe in the indoor pool, closing that temporarily. However pool was filthy after and they didn’t clean it. I was contacted by manager and given some compensation . He was very nice . Very disappointed

We weren’t able to get any type of worthwhile refund and had spent $300 for one night after the fees and taxes. Extremely disappointed. Needs major renovations.
-
Beautiful area, waterpark was closed. Huge room, beautiful lake, drilled a beautiful baseline 3 at the indoor gym to show the kids I still had it haha

So disappointing! They need to really invest in this property to bring it back to life. It’s dated, faded, things are not working properly in some rooms, In one of our rooms they had strong air freshener to cover up some other smell. The rooms on higher floors are better than the lower floors.
