A few steps only to the Amami-Kagoshima ferry, there is no hotel closer. Absolutely value for money. We paid less for two rooms than be spent on the dinner. Absolutely clean. It looks like from the 1970ies, including the furniture. Nothing damaged, but old an oldfashioned.

After being discharged from Amami-Oshima hospital after a serious car accident this hotel was very accomodating in allowing me a super early check in and gave me a very large room with views over the harbour to recover for a few days. Although the hotel is probably only positioned in about the 2.5/5 hotel budget bracket - the friendly, accomodating and helpful staff make up for that for sure. For Yen1200 the breakfast was good with views across the harbour. This hotel is positioned the closest to the ferry terminal of any hotel - only about a <3min walk away and great for very early morning ferry departures. Although the location is perfect for the ferry terminal - some of the surrounds are a little run-down and industrial - but what you'd expect in any port area.

Nice breakfast with a view at roof top. The room was very clean with a view on the port as advertised. Nice products in the bathroom. The tables at breakfast had sticky plastic tablecloths. Beside that it was nice!

Cheap and cheerful. Lovely staff. Tiny room but it's at a great location to get the A-Line ferry that leaves early in the morning and the ferry terminal is a literal stones throw away.

The service is way too rigid and inflexible. I was surprised to find such a bad service in Japan.
-
Good location not far from the port and a short walk into the town. The staff were all friendly and helpful (especially the young man from Nepal). The room is fine although as usual in Japan not big. We ended up staying an extra night when the ferries were cancelled sue to bad weather.

There are not many hotels in Naze, and this one is an old tired hotel, with one elevator, standard small rooms, etc. It is beside the ferry terminal, so it is useful for catching the 5am ferry to Okinawa. It was the only hotel available that I could afford on this day. I prefer camping (free), but it was going to rain. The hotel is good enough. One old elevator gets busy. It is an old hotel from 1960s, old tower.
