Located in the Oosterpark, Hotel Arena is located in the upcoming eastern part of Amsterdam. Guests can enjoy food and drinks with a view at café- restaurant PARK. The hotel is located in a historic building that once functioned as an orphanage and nursing-home. Rooms at Hotel Arena come with high ceilings, large windows, sloping walls, wooden beams and original ornaments. All rooms are different but each room has a flat-screen TV, air conditioning, seating area and private bathroom. The hotel offers 24-hour reception, free WiFi, bicycle rental and a host who can share various local tips during your stay. The hotel's entrance is accessible via the Oosterpark. Parking is available for a surcharge in the underground garage. Several trams stop around the corner and offer connections to main attractions such as Museum Square (1.7 mi), Leidseplein (1.7 mi), Rembrandtplein (1.2 mi) and the Dam Square (1.6 mi).

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. . We were fortunate to get an upgrade to the Villa. A multi-room luxury suite. Wow. It was amazing. Very clean, modern and ever so comfortable. Location was a little out of town but close to bus stops into the city. Breakfast was included and provided a wide selection of hot and cold options. They also had a number of bicycles you could rent to explore the city. Nothing.

Location was central and right on the park. The hotel was BEAUTIFUL!!!! Loved the blend between keeping the history of the original building and all of the modern finishes. Nothing. Everything was great.

Good location! Great location but staff especially the hotel manager could become more friendly and smile a bit. Many stains on the floor or walls in the hotel room. Shower was also clogged, not the best.

We found the location to be very good and the view from the restaurant / bar lovely, as it's right in the park. The room was also very clean. I did not like the fact I booked this place with breakfast included, however in the confirmation document it was stated breakfast was not included. Moreover, we spent 8 nights at this property and received a room with a mezzanine. I found it unpleasant to keep going up and down the stairs several times a day to reach the bed and the things upstairs. The room is quite small and had no simple "hangout" area for 2 people. The room was also quite dark during the day. Overall, this room completely lacked a pleasant vibe. As a conclusion, I will not return to this place on my next trip to Amsterdam.

Everything was Amazing! The building is wonderful Near to oosterpark where you need to be aware of scammers and thief… the hotel should put security inside the hall because it does not feel secure (we attended a thief from a Italian couple)

Location was excellent very comfortable bed setting with the park was very pleasant the stairs in the room was very steep for people with a disability to get to the bed
