AC was automated so we did not have control over the temp. I informed the host that it did not turn on during the heat wave and that we had quite a stuffy stay, but he followed up quickly and said he would address it for future stays.

It was a unique place to stay on the Little Amstel. We enjoyed watching the boats sail by. The location was convenient with the Albert Cuyp Market, Metro, and grocery store close by. It was small.

The kitchen was lacking a bit. It would have been nice to have utensils and paper towels or a kitchen towel. There is no way to heat up food so that was disappointing.

The host was almost around the boat on Sunday, They carried out repair, renovation, and cleaning work around the boat all day without considering that we were on board. It was a very inappropriate and inconsiderate behavior.

Booking, communication with the host, checking-in and -out, overall communication and logistics process was ever so easy (really enjoyed how automated everything was, including the Nuki entrance App - no human interaction whatsoever and I liked that). Everything was very clean, well stocked and even a fridge in the room. But most importantly - the views of the river and the city (especially at night), ducks and swans floating by just like all kinds of vessels, kayaks, boats, etc. Truly unique! And of course a walking distance from the city center, shops and restaurants. I would encourage you to go ahead and go for it regardless of a higher price for a smaller room - you’d be paying for the experience not even many locals have let alone tourists. Really, nothing to complain about. The only drawback for me was the size of the bathroom, not even the main room (although it was pretty small), size of the sink, to be exact. But then again, it faded in comparison to what I was there for.

Location was great For the price the amenities were inadequate and everything was an additional cost (i.e. firewood for the included sauna/hot tub, late checkout was $75, etc). The hot water kettle and Nespresso haven't been cleaned in forever as there was sludge on the bottom of both machines where the water goes, there were dishes but no dish soap or sponge, the pillows were very uncomfortable. There was "hot tub" in the description but it was not functional.

The bed was a bit small

It was so cool to sleep and wake up to the view. Everything was new and clean. Bathroom lighting was so dim, it was impossible to do make up or shave. The bed was good but the mattress was always slipping through the covers. It was two separate mattresses you should know that.

Just a very cool place to stay ... to be on the water and close to everything by foot or using transit. The room is small/cozy so you better like the person you stay with, but we had no complaints. We had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, modern & clean bathroom, coffee, easy access with app to lock/unlock door. Pretty sweet all around. Can't think of a thing.

Location was great, it was a very nice room to relax with a deck to sit on and watch boats pass by. No air conditioning during the day.

Maybe Im not a reader but was not prelared for the learning curve of parming costs in Amsterdam. I should have researched more. There is no drop off area for luggage, etc. The business tenant leaves stuff in the view of A&B. Fridge was not working well. Frozen.

We loved the convenience of the location and the outside seating area Wish it had come with shampoo and conditioner and a microwave would have been nice

It’s located in de pijp where you can find great cafes, restaurants, bar and shops. Also we felt very safe. Public transport is in walking distance. The view of the river was very special. The bathroom especially the sink is very small.

    Superb

The spot exceeded my Father and I's expectations. Beautifully docked with stunning views of the canal, the cute ducks, and the Amsterdam skyline, it was truly a delight to sit outside on the dock and enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine! The dry sauna was an extra bonus - the host was kind enough to bring us some wood so that we can get it started! Beds were comfortable, small - but fine considering the size of the unit. Washroom was adequately equipped with soap. The location is very well located, near the markets and a short walk away from the core of the city. The size of the unit is indeed a little small, however the novelty and charm of the unit make up for it!

The novelty of being on the canal and the charm of the property is beautiful. It was very cold, the whole place could do with a decoration refresh and the sink is too small.
