The laughter when I tell the story where I completely failed booking a room in Amsterdam. You can smoke inside. Distance to Amsterdam Centraal. Their reviews, location, cleanliness, smell, risky window, PRICE.

The staff are excellent. The owner showed us everything and was very friendly. Everything you need is there. The location is right in the city center, and everything is very close and within walking distance. The room is small, and the shower and toilet are shared, but there is a sink in the room. And the stairs are very steep

The location was the best, so close to all the action Amsterdam has to offer. It is in the Heart of the red light district with lots of bars and restaurants right there. We had a room with a shared bathroom, which was cleaned daily. The room had a portable fan as it was hot. You can smoke in your rooms too! Ash tray supplied. Overall it was perfect for us. It was very noisy until all hours of the morning, however we knew this as from reading past reviews so we didn't worry about that. Ear plugs are supplied!

The room exceeded our expectations! It was so unique and we weren't expecting the room to have a private bathroom! We loved it and would definitely stay there again if we ever need to stay in Amsterdam. The stairs up to the 3rd floor were very steep but it was a fun laugh for us when we made it up to the top with our luggage. It was also loud at night with the nightlife below on the street but we were aware of that when we booked and didn't mind it all. We appreciated the provided earplugs.

Location is top tier, literally 5 mins walk from central station, got everything you need around you, staff for amazing so friendly and made a great time in the bar. Rooms were clean decent sized for three of us. Like most properties in central Amsterdam the steep stairs can be a struggle with luggage but that’s expected, not having a private toilet and showroom but honestly wasn’t a big deal.

smoking friendly, 10% bar discount, lovely staff, comfy room, everything you need in one place, in an amazing location with lots to do on the street stairs very narrow but that's just amsterdam, i was excited to see there was a tv in the room but sadly it did not work

The location only, it was not a hotel but a pub with communal rooms the bathroom door did not lock. The toilet ran out of T rolls. The room stank like the peed on the carpet floor. The location

the stairs, but there's nothing they can do about that.

old Amsterdam Hotel over a very nice bar. The bartenders are your hosts. you have your own private room but you share the bathroom and the shower. both were clean. The worst part is the extremely steep stairs going up to your room, so ask for a lower floor if you are not young and in good shape. this is very common in Old Amsterdam hotels. also there is no air conditioning, which is also very common, however it is cool in Amsterdam at night, even in July. the stairs, but there's nothing they can do about that.

the location was AMAZING! right on a street with hundreds of shops and restaurants and right next to the central station. the room and facilities were also very comfy one of the windows were propped open 24/7 so you could hear outside noise but that comes with it being a smoke friendly hotel
