We noticed a strong chemical odour the moment we entered our room. We tried airing out the room, but unfortunately that did not work, so we contacted reception and were offered an identical room as replacement; it had the exact same issue. At this point we made the decision to urgently book alternative accommodation, as the odour was already causing headaches, and left the hotel, fully expecting a full refund, seeing as this was a health and safety issue and the requested service was not provided. Communicating with the hotel after this was impossibly frustrating: they kept claiming we did things that we did not do, they dragged out their responses, they refused to consider any refunds, they couldn't even honor the solutions they themselves offered. To this date, the property has declined all requests for a full or partial refund. We ended up contacting Korea Tourist Organisation with a complaint, and they informed us that a sanitary inspection has been conducted, and that they will keep carrying out regular checks from now on.

Comfortable room and bed. Wifi worked fine. Very close to station. Sunday evening not many food choices and restaurant not open. Need to go into town (10 min taxi ride)

Was very clean and comfortable. Ansan is somewhat spread out as a town, but location was pretty central. Several restaurants nearby walking distance. Pleasant stay.

Large room with nice size bath. Plenty of towels. Location was good. The room was HOT and it was 75-80 outside (daytime). I asked about AC and they said it's springtime and they don't turn on AC in rooms until May. I was told to open my window which helped enough to get some sleep. First time I've come across that in the 3 hotels in Korea we stayed in. FYI even with shower/tub combo the floor gets drenched so I'm standing in a pool of water blow drying my hair. Yikes!

Very friendly and supportable stuff. The room was not so clean. One bed lamp was not working. The safe was looked and could not repaired for the whole week. There was not enough hanger wardrobe.

no taxi service. far from main areas but staff (the main was the cleaners) taxi, location, resturant - didnt tell us it was 30 min limit. paid $16 per person - they werent even opened but still served us but wanted us to follow their 30 min rule without serving proper food (had flies) room was small. and we had to call so many times for towels, clean our room, amenities

The hotel called me around 10 and i told them i'll be there around 2~4am i wasn't told that there will be no one in front desk. I panic and i didn't know what to do. There was no notice for me in front desk. I felt i was a thief because i had to pick any keys. I was so afraid to enter the counter but i am also afraid to sleep on the street. No bathrobe No hair drier No bodywash No hair brush
