Hotel Mille Kaleici

Would be good to have instructions on how to use the TV.

The location is key here as we were in a quieter section of old town. The accommodations we stayed in were "recently acquired". It was missing a few things, but the staff was very responsive and brought our requested items. The kitchen featured a cooktop, microwave, and tea kettle which were essential for making meals. It was an affordable accommodation with two bedrooms. The front door is in need of replacing as you could see light coming through cracks in it. Cats in the attic running and fighting at night. Vehicle and pedestrian street noise is out of their control but it did wake us up at night because the road is right outside the door.

Such an amazing place to stay at, we stayed at the same hotel in 2023 so we knew how good it was that we bookeed it again. Arrived very early in the morning and they not only checked us in early but gave us an upgrade to a two bedroom appartament, which we loved so much, it was an amazing surprise. The staff was superb, hotel was amazing and the location excellent.

Beautiful room over 2 floors but would have preferred a room on the very top floor. There were people with heavy footsteps in the room above us .

A beautiful, well preserved historical building located in the centre of the old town. We were warmly welcomed by the manager with a cardamon coffee and history of the building. The stay was very comfortable and the staff were helpful including providing a list of recommendations for restaurants and sight seeing options with no pressure.

Smell. I understand it's the old hotel, however I would appreciate at least air fresheners. And a renovation is required bathroom is quite poor quality.

The staff was lovely! They were all so helpful with recommendations and things to do. The hotel is so interesting and lovely. They gave me an extra fan the first night since I was hot. It’s not their fault, it was just hot outside and I’m used to American AC sleeping. Just a gem! Nothing except contact staff about parking to get in to the old town.

It was the perfect location in the old town, and the staff were very kind and welcoming. The hotel was very charming and beautifully decorated. We paid for the most expensive room yet had no idea it was on the ground floor next to the reception. We were told it was « soundproof » upon arrival but we heard absolutely everything happening outside which made it hard to sleep. Also, the mattress was SO hard and we could feel the metal springs through it. Not what we would expect from the price. Lastly, the locks were electronic with codes. There was no extra lock on the inside for safety, and as female travelers we were very uncomfortable with this, because anyone with the code could still enter the room.

The warmest welcome we've received with a complimentary Ottoman coffee and short intro about the historic building. This beautiful historic family house has only 3 rooms. Our honeymoon room was very comfy and clean. Location is great as it's further away from the noisy restaurants and bars closer to the sea. Free street parking. They also shared great suggestions of restaurants with us and accommodated our request for an extra comforter perfectly. The complimentary Ottoman coffee was also offered when we left. Very close to a beautiful mosque, which made the muezzin call early morning very loud.

Very cute historical house. The host is very knowledgeable. He served us ottoman coffee and told us the story of the house. The room is very cute and comfortable. Location is right in the old town. The only concern is a little difficult to drive in the small streets.

Excellent location in the heart of the old city, near all amenities but far enough away from the night life to be very quiet in the evening , with wonderful ambiance, tastefully designed rooms, and very conscientious hosts attentive to all needs, sincerely dedicated to implementing green environmental practices and state of the art technology while also respecting the authenticity of this beautiful historic building.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of downtown, surrounded by the charm of the beautiful old town. Its central position makes it convenient for exploring the area. The property has a cozy, home-like feel, more similar to an Airbnb villa than a traditional hotel. The rooms are small but adequate, and the staff are friendly and helpful. However, it’s important to note that this isn’t a place to expect the full range of hotel services or a typical hotel atmosphere. It lacks some of the support services you might associate with larger hotels. Overall, Mille Kaleci is a good choice if you’re looking for a simple, comfortable stay in a fantastic location, with a warm and welcoming staff. Perfect for those who value location over luxury. Everything is ok but they don’t have own restaurant and 24 hour support

Amazing administrator showed the hotel, told its story and made us Turkish tea as we arrived at the hotel. The terrace is small, but really cosy. The view from the balcony at our room was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay

There is a historical atmosphere in a great location, I could watch the museum mosque right in front of me, if you can reach the employees and the people concerned, they really take good care of it. I checked in late at night and was going to leave early in the morning. My only purpose was to take a shower and rest. When I couldn't access hot water at night, I postponed it until the morning. However, despite waking up early in the morning, I didn't have access to water for 3 hours. Unfortunately, I had to go to the Turkish bath outside. The staff is caring and friendly, but their crisis management is zero. You sell experience to customers in the service sector and although they knew that all I needed was a shower, they didn't do anything to compensate or it didn't occur to them. Unfortunately, it's not a place I would choose again.
