Casa Maria Hotel

Location is great - close to old town, shops, food and the rest of the city. The room size is decent, the a/c was quiet an efficient. The staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful, promptly responding on WhatsApp. The breakfast was not available, as the hotel's garden restaurant was closed by the city. The management refunded breakfast charges, but it was one of the major points in hotel selection. Our non-smoking room had faint tobacco smell. It was cleaned and likely masked with some deodorant, but we could still feel it. The windows were old and we could hear everything happening outside. Bathroom door was not closing properly as the door latch wasn't done right.

Our room was in the basement. Very spacious and well appointed but very dark.

the self check-in instructions. Because I arrived at reception time and it was an interesting experience. Our room, however, was cozy, clean, and nicely located on the first floor next to the garden. Breakfast was included in our reservation , and the staff were very polite, smiling. Special thanks to the receptionist , who was very helpful and polite as well. Everything was great! The hotel is located in a quiet area, very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed our stay. No negatives at all.

Quiet, private, and clean. It’s not big, but it feels cozy and well kept. The host provided everything we needed for our two-night visit.

Only a 5-minute walk to the Medina. that’s crazy! The hotel is very authentic and still has its soul. You should definitely stay here at least once!

The welcome was wonderful. Even the air conditioner was already on in the room , that was amazing! The location is just a 5-minute walk to the Old Town. I highly recommend the rafting tour ! we had an incredible time. Definitely recommended!

The room was clean and spacious. I definitely recommend the breakfast. I heard some noise at night, but the hotel is located in the city center, so it’s normal that it’s a bit busy. Everything is very close by. We reached the beach in 15 minutes. Manager helped us with many things. Thank you Yigit. I will definitely come back!

The hotel was clean and the room was nice. Since I arrived late at night, I used self check-in and finding the air conditioner already running in the room was an incredible touch! The building has a slightly heavy atmosphere due to its age, but it’s not disturbing at all. It feels like staying in an old mansion. staff were helpful and positive. Thank you

Facility is safe and located in a very convenient area, we explored around easily and almost didn’t require taxi even from the airport.

Really good location, you can find everything in one neighborhood. The size of the rooms was really big. This property offers basic accommodation with beds and running water. However, service was severely lacking. During our week-long stay, the reception was frequently unattended, and our room was not cleaned or serviced at all. We were not provided with essential amenities like shampoo, and when we requested toilet paper, we were told to purchase it ourselves. The ground floor location resulted in no view and constant street noise.

The room was big and comfortable. Good price. Good location. Overall, I had a good stay, but I don’t have high expectations. Reception with no receptionists. In my 3 days of stay I didn’t see a single receptionist. Everything was done over the phone. I texted them on WhatsApp the day before my check out because I didn’t know what’s the procedure since nobody was at the reception. I also wanted to ask for help with taxi to the airport, but once I realised they do not even answer until I call, I just asked for the check out instructions. The staff was kind though but not very receptive. The room was in the basement and it smelled of cats pee, especially the corridor near the rooms. There was no warm water at night when I arrived so I couldn’t take a shower. I took it the next morning. Those are little things and didn’t affect my stay so much. Overall, it was a good stay.

Great location Good value for money Comfortable bed Easy checkout Kind host Walls were paper thin, you could hear everything on the street, or in the other rooms. No safe box in the room. Make sure to ask for the check-in instructions before arrival because most of the time there’s no one at the reception. Wifi took time to connect to our devices but worked just fine eventually.

The first day we arrived, the perfume in the room smelled too strong we couldn't sleep at night, the second day the problem was solved. I highly recommend this hotel the room smelled first day
