Kaleici Efsali Hotel

The location was excellent. Even though the bed sheets weren’t clean, the beds were comfortable. We had an issue with the air conditioning. Although they didn’t care much about the other problems, they did fix the air conditioner. A very old and not-so-clean hotel. The moment we entered the room, we were already disappointed. It looks nothing like the photos. The pictures were probably taken several years ago when the hotel had just opened. On top of the shock of entering a dark, musty-smelling room, we were even more surprised to see hair and fur on the beds. Don’t be fooled by how bright the room looks in the photos — it’s actually very dark. Due to the poor lighting, we had to use our phone flashlight to look for things in our suitcase. The bathroom smelled bad, and together with the musty room odor, it was unbearable. It was not clean at all. They had just mopped the visible parts, and that was it. The worst part is that they don't seem to care about the customer's requests. They said the room was cleaned, but when we entered, everything was exactly the same. The next day we asked for cleaning again. There was a thick layer of dust under the bed — I even took a photo to show them and asked for it to be cleaned, but they didn’t even touch it. Once again, they only cleaned the visible areas. Even after the "cleaning," there were still hairs on the pillow — I sent a photo, and they didn’t even respond. The toilet was already moldy and smelled awful, completely unlike how it appears in the photos. The curtains were stained and full of dust. The towels they gave us were obviously very old, and the bath mats were so worn out that they were torn — yet they still handed them to guests without a second thought. When complaints increased, they eventually just stopped responding — I guess they got offended.)) I really don’t understand how they aim to provide customer satisfaction. I’ve stayed in many hotels, but I can honestly say this was my worst experience.

I had a small room with a window to the courtyard. For the money I paid, it was okay. The location is great in the old town but no noise.

The location is excellent and was great for a short stay. The man who checked us in was very kind and welcoming! The bed was comfortable as well. The towels in our room looked like they hadn’t been cleaned, with makeup and dirt on them.

Great location in the center of old town, 24/7 reception There is bar across the street, it was quite loud in the night. Little bit old, no amenities in the room

Location great for old town, waterfront, parks, transport and attractions. Away from noisy nightlife but close enough to cafes etc. Comfortable room and great value. Breakfast offered two blocks away was excellent. Nothing to dislike

Location is just perfect !!! Owner of the property was just a perfect host .. Very kind a supportive. We reached a bit early n since early check in was not possible for them , they offered us complimentary breakfast which was a very kind gesture. Last but not the least they offer tea n coffee free of charge for the full day .. 5 stars for their memorable hospitality ? Bathroom is small

Nothing Air conditioning broken, and the receptionist couldn’t find anyone to fix it. When I called again, no one would pick up. As I walked to a store to find water, I saw the receptionist having a smoke break. I gave up and found another hotel soon.

Location and stuff was great. Clean room and near from everything. it was very good experience. I recommend this hotel.

The ambiance was good. Quiet room. Bed mattress was a little uncomfortable which needs replacement I think.

It was clean and spacious it had everything you would need from a hotel and a fraction of a price The AC needs to be changed it’s not powerful enough it takes forever to cool the room and when it does it’s to late

I highly recommend this place. A very very nice family hotel. Friendly and hospitable people, everything is clean and tidy. The location is good - in the old city center, 10-14 minutes from the tram stop, you can get to the public beach. The walking streets are nearby, but after 12 am everything is quiet. The hotel has breakfasts, outdoors in their cozy courtyard there is a lot of everything-fresh vegetables, herbs, chopped cheeses, there were even a few ready-made dishes-one day there were potatoes, another some salad, olives, of course cereals and bread, you can spread them in different ways. They also offer a fresh omelet to prepare delicious tea and coffee and a simple but delicious pie. We were allowed to leave things before and after arrival. They even gave me a vacuum cleaner to vacuum things)) Thank you very much for a great stay!❤️☀️

It is inside the vibrant old town. Lot of restaurants and pubs are there. The beach is also close.
