Otel Star Palace

It is right by the city center and the Tram is close by from the airport, very convenient The bathroom was dirty, the other guests were fighting and shouting continuously. Walls are extremely thin. Something happened every night. Not very family friendly

From the past reviews I was expecting something horrible, but it was really okay overall. I stayed 2 weeks in room 303, so enough to give an opinion. #>{ room was quite clean, when we wanted our room to be cleaned we just asked the receptionist and they would do it the same day. The location is good, right in front of the tram station, walking distance to the shopping mall and 2 tram stops away from the main busy street full of restaurants and bars. Around the hotel there are quite a lot of places to eat too, some of them open all night, and different kind of shops. Another thing i appreciated is the hotel lobby, there are many comfortable couches and a TV with netflix, the toilets in the lobby are also clean and modern. The only two negative things tbh were the toilet and the wi-fi. As for the toilet, when it’s clean it’s fine but it gets dirty so fast. Sometimes there was a weird smell and the shower is a bit annoying as it’s either coldish or boiling hot, so i had to switch them every 10 seconds while showering. As for the wi-fi, it was slow and it got on my nerves sometimes. Also walls are not that thick, so you’ll probably hear people having fun in their rooms at night :)

Location was really good near the old town. The receptionist was really nice. Very poor cleaning in the room with the bathroom needing repairs as it looked really bad compared to the rest of the room. I doubt the bathroom was even cleaned from the previous guests as it was super dirty and the toilet paper had poo stains…… The Wi-Fi did not work at all during our stay.

The Wi-Fi was bad most of the time and the toilet had a sound like it wanna explode.

Hotel is very nice and quiet. Staff are nice and helpful. Hotel location is ideal. Price is good and reasonable. There's no breakfast or local restaurant to enjoy morning meal.

For this price almost everything was ok. The worst thing in this hotel is bathroom. It is hard to get a shower due to lack of water in shower. Moreover whole bathroom needs a renovation. Walls between rooms are too thin. You can enjoy nightly sounds

No room service for the days we stayed. Wi-Fi don’t work in your room at all. Staff isn’t the friendliest.

Nothing really the room was very small shower didn't work and no clean towels without adkibg The fact that you could gmhear ever other guest including night time personal activities nothing done when complained to reception staff

The location is very good,colse to almost everything you daily needs as a tourist, such as tram station, seaside, supermarkets. The reception staff are particularly helpful. When I arrived surprisingly early than my booked time, the reception gentleman helped me to settle down in a special room at 2am. The reception young lady also offered help for almost everything needed as foreigners needed during the pandemic period.
