Nostos Sifnos

Room beautiful and clean. Host ( Aris) is super nice and helpful. Apollonia at a decent walking distance , the path is beautiful to get there . Super quiet. It would be perfect if some breakfast could be provided. Restaurants open late in sifnos , there is only 2 bakeries and you have to drive or walk there . But it is not a big issue, just answering the question asked by booking .

Our room at Nostos Sifnos was a part of a gorgeous complex of rooms just outside of Apollonia. The property and staff are kind and helpful. Offering to book us a taxi to and from the port and providing their personal number for any inquires. The room was small but stocked with everything one could need while on the island. The outdoor living space was a great spot to enjoy a quiet lunch or dinner. The only drawback to staying here is the walk into town if you do not have a car, which we did not. Kato Petali is a tiny charming village about 10-15 minutes walking outside of Apollonia. The walk itself is quite scenic.

Without a vehicle, it’s a 15-minute uphill walk to the center of Apollonia.

Perfect location to explore the island, super friendly staff, great room!

The village was calm and picturesque. It was just a short walk to Apollonia, and we even enjoyed an early morning walk to Kastro village. The room was cozy, with a modern design and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved sitting outside, surrounded by nature and beautiful flowers. This is a lovely family-run business, and Aris went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful stay, and I’ll happily return whenever I crave the peace and beauty of Sifnos Island.

We had an incredible stay at Nostos Sifnos! The place is amazing with a stunning view, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It's run by a wonderful family, and we were especially touched by the lovely grandmother and her grandson, Artis, who were both incredibly welcoming and helpful. Artis went above and beyond, helping us book taxis and offering great tips on how to explore the island. Their hospitality truly made our trip special. Highly recommend staying here for a genuine and warm Sifnos experience! Nothing

The rooms were extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location was also excellent - just a short walk to many shops, cafes, tavernas, bakeries and the bus stop.

Aris deserves all the rave reviews! This was such a welcome stay near Apollonia - great location, really beautiful premises (it’s decorated so thoughtfully with beautiful ceramics, flowers, trees and little touches dotted throughout). It’s only a 5 min car ride into Apollonia or a 15 min walk (either from a scenic and peaceful slight uphill walk through churches and grape vines) or along the public route. Everything is clean, nicely decorated and Aris goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is fantastic in Sifnos. We will absolutely be staying here again for our future visits and can’t wait to catch up when we’re here next year!!!

Location, staff, cleanness, room set up

Beautiful self catering accommodation complex with a traditional Cycladic design, located in the quaint little village of Kato Petali. Spacious room and bathroom, with kitchen facilities for cooking as well as a nespresso machine. Check in was very easy and efficient and we were delighted to find that our room was ready when we arrived 2 hours before check in time! The room was cleaned on day 2 and towels replenished although we were only staying for 2 nights! The host, Aris, was very helpful and accommodating, offering to help us with car rental and booking taxi to the port upon departure. Located within walking distance of Apollonia town (10-15 mins) on a picturesque trail enjoying views of the village, surrounding farmland and mountains. Buses from Apollonia go to tourist attractions like Kastro and Platy Gialos. Also one of the best traditional tavernas on the island, To Kelari, is conveniently located right across the street, and Sifnos Narlis farm (a traditional farm which offers a unique experience of cooking class/tasting/farm tour which I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the island) is only a few minutes' walk away too! Will definitely stay here again when we are back in Sifnos!
