A marvellous hotel, so clean and luxurious. I’m surprised that more people don’t know of this hidden gem. I cannot say enough, good things about it. Soaps provided were very good quality and the towels luxurious. I did not feel I was in an economy room. Everything was fantastic. There was nothing I didn’t like.

Diner and Breakfast were excrllent the dining room and bar were empty hence lacking in atmosphere

Accommodation was lovely. The view from the hotel was gorgeous. When sleeping the duvet and cover made sleeping uncomfortable as I was too warm and woke regularly. The breakfast was delicious but took almost an hour to arrive.

Actually very little. The place bills itself as luxury accommodation but it’s mutton dressed as lamb. We suspected there might be a problem when messages weren’t responded to promptly, but it was too late to cancel without loosing the price of our one night booking. The place appeared to be understaffed and that was the stated reason for both a slow check-in and other issues. Understaffed to the point of being unable to offer any food service for a meal the evening we checked in as they were “full up” “it might be 9pm but they didn’t know” (Not in the bar, not in the restaurant, not as room service or take out.) We could see a large room (one assumes the meeting room they advertised) was being used as a staging area with linens, cleaning supplies and tools stacked. Our en-suite twin room had a large bathroom, but a very small tight bedroom. “Luxury” gee-gaws were all over the place (a scale, multiple soaps and shampoos, hairdryer, cotton-tips, multiple decorated pillows, TV, giant wardrobe too big for the room, etc.) But the shower pan had visible cracks, dirt, hair, and the shower drain cover was ajar, implying a drain problem. The towel rack and radiator heating had been turned off for the night and stayed off until after breakfast the next morning. Coffee service tray without milk, so I asked at the bar and got a small pitcher. Unusually, got the advice to use a refrigerator in the room under the bedside table. This turned out to be a plug in cooler the size of a shoebox containing a single bottle of water. Plugged in the unit, but at bedtime the water was still room temp but the bedside table had gotten very warm indeed, so we unplugged the unit. All part of the trend. It was if someone advised the place include “luxuries” but the important services couldn’t be met. I don’t know if the current owners-managers bought the place as outfitted but it was also decorated in blacks and metallic tones which made the room seem even smaller. Breakfast included. cold offerings were less varied any of the other places we stayed where breakfast was offered, but the hot menu was large. We both ordered omelettes. Grotesquely over cooked and whoever had tortured the poor eggs had decided to finish them with a drizzle of what I guessed to be balsamic vinegar(?). Did I say this was the most expensive night in UK outside of Edinburgh and London?

The bed was excellent and they thought of everything to make our stay comfortable - excellent tea and fresh milk in the room, a fantastic hairdryer and little things like dental floss and cotton balls in the room. Breakfast was amazing! Nothing

Amanda was the best part of our stay - she was so so so so friendly - and extremely accommodating. Upon check-in she took us to the room, and showed us every detail, and ensured we had what we needed. As we were leaving after check-out - we got a later start and missed breakfast, Amanda INSISTED she cook us something we could take with us, and she did - completely above and beyond. The room was also incredibly well thought out - it was well decorated, and very comfortable. Great amenities. The property is small, and intimate, and in a very very very cool location off the loch. Could not recommend this spot enough. Wish there was a tub, but that's just a personal preference. The shower was totally fine!

The inn and room were beautiful and cozy. Nice setting with the coast nearby. Breakfast was generous and staff were very friendly. Wish it was more than a stopover for us. I plan to return Bath drain didn't work which left us standing in a foot of water. Also the check-in deadline was not highlighted enough and I was arriving late which led to a lot of worry especially as there was no way to contact the hotel desk, just a voicemail service and an email address. I wasn't sure what I was going to do if I was just locked out at 10:30 in the middle of nowhere. I appreciated the call from the hotel to make arrangements which came after I had already missed the check-in deadline but it added stress to the evening at dinner and driving down from Oban. Some form of prompt communication should be available during open hours.

The food for breakfast and dinner was excellently prepared by the in house chef, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There were comfortable sofas in the dining room, but otherwise nowhere comfortable to relax. Our room did not have space for a chair.

We enjoyed our stay as a family of 3, we stayed for 3 nights and had a proper rest before we explored the nearby areas. The size of the room is sufficient and the bathroom is massive and modern, cleanliness is 10/10. The breakfast is excellent, made to order and included in our stay. The Staff are amazing, special shout out to Robert who was so kind and accommodating to our needs and very friendly and helpful. None ?

For the money, excellent value. Rooms are well appointed, Sky TV and alexa included. Nice bar with lovely pizza and good food. Pity the bar is closed during the day, but that is perhaps just a reflection of the difficult staffing and economic conditions for businesses.

Beautiful location, gorgeous hotel, very friendly staff, great food, excellent value for money and an overall very friendly vibe. Special mention to the chef who went above and beyond to feed me and my kids after we arrived much later than expected with very hungry bellies. A total lifesaver and very much appreciated.
