Get what you pay for, ok for its purpose... sleep

Staff were accommodating when I requested a late checkout even though I wound up not needing to use it. However, the staff that was on site when I went to checkout the next morning was completely different, so I don't know if my request was actually taken down. The bathroom, specifically the walls of the shower were not cleaned; there was hair from the previous resident still on the walls. By the time I was ready to shower and noticed, it was too late to do anything about it. The rest of the room looked clean as far as I could tell, but the front area by the door looked like it needed to be swept again. I could also smell cigarette smoke inside my room. One of the tenants next to me was smoking on the outside balcony when I arrived, so I'm pretty sure they were the cause. The front door wasn't properly sealed at the bottom, so the smell possibly could've come from outside, but it also smelled like it could've been coming from the air vents (AKA the room next to me with the probable smoker). As I mentioned, the door to the room wasn't properly sealed at the bottom. I could see a large gap with light coming through all night and had trouble getting to sleep because of it. The door also wouldn't lock properly on its own without me pushing/pulling the door extremely hard. If I hadn't been observant, I would've slept all night with essentially an open door.

Stains on the sheets. Elevator was broken. Water was being turned off in the morning. Large crack under the door allowing all of the humidity into the room making everything wet unless you turned the air down under 65. Staff was friendly when I was able to find them. I would avoid this place.

The place was clean and the beds comfy. We had 2 rooms and in the first room,the tub faucet leaked and the ac worked but didn’t get too cold. Then we had a leak in the ceiling from the room above so they moved us to the 3rd floor where the ac unit was brand new and worked awesome and the room was nicer with no faucet leaks.

Neg.: no fresh fruit for breakfast, lack of variety for breakfast. 2 blocks away was agood Irish Pub w/ very good food/variety. But beer/ale prices high.

The room was clean. Everything was up to date. The staff was friendly.

The room was clean, but a bit run down. Hallway has strong odor, carpets were dirty. The pictures on the website do not match at all. I would not recommend for kids. Bad odor coming from the next room. It appears people may by living there and appeared to be tweaking. Front desk staff were nice.

Their Continental breakfast was a bowl of frosted flakes or wonderbread white bread with butter. The room was clean, but not stocked with towels, soap, etc.

kind of rundown not much in the room they did have a Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel which we did use and McDonald’s was across the street so that was convenient. We stayed there because it was not expensive and close to Washington DC.
