The hotel building and grounds were lovely-calm and restful. Nice views of the surrounding area. Very easy to get to from the motorway. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice, although could have been healthier with fresh orange jiuice and a range of bread types for example. The location was great for our needs, although a little noisy due to the road.

Location , peaceful, very comfortable bed , small room but perfect for a few nights . Parking , elevator. Great breakfast and friendly staff . Lovely garden space to enjoy too

The breakfast was varied and nutritious. . The staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee and tea were a little disappointing. The air conditioner was a little noisy and difficult to adjust.

This is a very impressive-looking and well-equipped hotel with a wide range of facilities: however, if you are only passing through for one night on a walking holiday many of those are surplus to requirements. It would have been good to have a bottle of water and a drinking cup in the room - simple things I found in every other hotel on the trip. The staff were helpful in recommending a nearby good value place to eat. Extensive and excellent value breakfast included in the price. See the comment above about the lack of a bottle of water.
