Breakfast was excellent and a great variety.

Loved the grounds - surrounded by lemon trees and olive trees - it was so pretty. It was a nice walk to the old city and the staff was very helpful and hospitable. I have recommended the Hotal la Terrazza to friends. The room was a bit small, but the room was very comfortable with windows that open to outside and a good use of space.

Lovely views across the valley. Upgraded room was good. My initial room is a little small and gloomy, so I paid to upgrade to one of the larger rooms which was a significant improvement, although suffered from road noise as these are located very close to the road. The breakfast, as is often the case in Italy, was heavy on the sweet options, but light on more traditional mainstay products. The orange juice was nasty . No option to buy only a glass of wine at dinner. Dinner itself was OK but not of the highest quality.

The staff was very kind. The location, a 20-25 minute walk outside the main part of the city was good. The views were incredible. The pool was very nice after a long hot day walking the hills of Assisi. The main lobby area and outside terraces are updated and beautiful. Great cappuccino at breakfast. The room we were given was very tiny and verrry hot, which made it hard to sleep. It was in need of updating As it’s very old and tired. The air conditioning is turned off automatically at times and there’s no cross-ventilation. If you left the windows open, the mosquitos would eat you alive. I specifically booked a hotel with A/C, so I could have a good nights sleep, as a peri-menopausal woman who needs to sleep with the room cold. WiFi rarely worked, even outside. The charges for a pool towel seemed like you were being nickel-and -dimed. I’ve never heard of that at any hotel in the world. You have a pool, you should have pool towels for your guests. You should definitely have a car if you want to explore the region.

Very nice and comfortable, large garden to sit when weather permits A WONDERFUL view of the valley from most or all rooms (we had 6 rooms, all with a wonderful view) It's not that I didn't like, but if you're lookig for a place that you just step out to the streets of the town, this isn't the place. I don't know if that's a negative point (for me it's a positive point) but you should know that.

The room was very hot as the AC was controlled by manager and only turned on low a few hours a day during extreme heat. The room averaged 81 degrees at night. The bed was rock hard as were the pillows. Mosquitos were abundant.

Hotel La Terraza in Assisi is an absolute gem. We are a family of four from Argentina (my husband, two kids, and I). We had an exceptional stay, thanks to the kind hospitality and the hotel's many amenities. The hotel is impeccably clean and airy, offering spectacular bedroom views. Breakfast service was excellent, and the location is incredibly convenient, just steps from Assisi's historic center. We loved the immaculate gardens and the beautiful pool. The wellness center is a great bonus. Parking is also available. This hotel is a must-stay in Assisi. We will definitely return!

Beautiful well kept swimming pool. Nice walk to main part of Assisi. Paying for a towel to use the pool.

What we liked: very friendly, helpful staff; conveniently located; free parking; great continental breakfast; very clean rooms; overall value; and beautiful view from balconies. What could be improved: softer, more comfortable beds; and updated decor in rooms.

Wonderful staff.

Ideally set in a peaceful and tranquil surroundings. Great front desk staff. My room had a bedroom window overlooked by the next door terrace. No privacy. Bathroom window had a thin curtain and completely exposed to a public passage way a few metres away. Sagging bedroom door making it hard to open. Reported it to front desk but I guess it needed a new door.
