Beds were comfortable. It's kind of far from the train station and from the town downtown. Maybe the hostel can ask guests if they are going yo get there from the train station or by car, and if by train, offer them the options for getting there: public bus or taxi.

The restaurant food was great and service was efficient. Staff was pleasantly helpful. Just stay in this place IF you have a car. It's located in a campground and an uphill walk. The road does not have street lights so it may be difficult without a torch/flashlight when coming back when it's dark.

It is high on a hill above Assisi so walks through Assisi are downhill. The area is beautiful and wooded. There is a lovely restaurant connected to the hotel All the hotel and restaurant staff were very helpful

We (family of 4) have stayed only one night at Ostello. It was a stopover between Lecce and Milan. We wanted to have the opportunity to visit Assisi. It was most definitely worth it. Everyone loved it. As for Ostello , we loved our stay. Staff was super nice. We stayed at a room for 4 people. Simple but very clean. We loved the atmosphere of the place. Would definitely go back !!!

Good location. Excellent view. Chill out. Kirchen is poorly equipped. I had had to clean the table for myself before using it.

First, we booked a room in the hostel building but were bumped up to the hotel. Spacious room with lovely view. Amazing surroundings. Warm radiators (actually hot), you could keep the room warm. Comfy bed (!).

Very clean, helpful staff and quite location. Nothing significant but providing a kettle & few cups in the room would help make tea.

It was up the hill 25 minutes from city gate. It was arround 35 minutes to the center.

Very good place to stay in Assisi if you're looking for a simple, quite place. Surrounded by nature but close to the centre at the same time. Good price to quality ratio

Room exactly as described. Staff exceedingly helpful. Restaurant (great soup!) and café (pistachio cornetto! ) very reasonably priced. 20-min walk to Assisi walls. Sounds of chirping birds, light wind, scent of the woods and campfires. I could have stayed a week! Easy to make friends with fellow-travelrs and share lively conversation over good local wine. I will remember Fontemaggio fondly! Everything was perfect.

The Utensils to cook were very limited, plates and cutlery had a great selection though.

The staff treat the guests like royalty ? They do anything to make the stay magical and special I loved everything I can't wait to come back
