We were happy about everything and stuff were amazingly polite and helpful. Swimming pool could be better.

Everything. Staff, facilities. Pool is particularly nice on hot days or evening. Reasonable prices at restaurant. Staff is particularly attentive. Nothing really.

The friendliness and service of the staff. The pool. The food in the restaurant. Lighting, balcony doors that didn't open and shut properly.

This is a lovely hotel and what makes it exceptional is the staff - they are kind, helpful, and very accommodating.

Room was comfortable and breakfast buffet was good. The bed and pillows were too hard for me, but that is a personal preference.

The view is amazing , the staff are very friendly , the service is excellent No issues

Pool area has seen better days and pool water was a bit cloudy for my taste but it was probably due to the non-stop sand that blows in. Bathrooms in the room could use an update.

The hotel from outside, interior and outdoor facilities all are amazing. They provide a full bathroom set like shaving kit loofahs and some other stuff The rooms are old, bed is old, fridge is smelly and old and airconditioning is extremely old and barley working

The staff reached out and set up a private driver for getting around with no issues. Real vip service

Basma is great and the service is exceptional! Like, notably exceptional. We arrived early in the morning and still got our room after only waiting an hour (6 hours ahead of check in). The person who showed us to our room, brought us slippers, robes, dental kits, fruit and more. It was alot of ammentities! The common areas are all redone and modern and the pool area is beautiful! Its a great location right by the Sofitel Cataract. When we went to Abu Simbel the staff made sure we had picnic lunches packed and a wake up call. When we dined in the hotel, breakfast buffet was the best I've had in Egypt (so many choices!) and the lunch by the pool was incredible value and super good! They also provided us with a very late check out. Thank you to all the staff at Basma. The customer service makes this hotel a 5 star experience. I stayed at a 5 star resort later in my trip and it didn't even come close to the service we got at Basma. Nothing! Rooms are a little older and dated but very clean and comfortable. It didn't bother me.

Beautiful hotel with a great view. The pool is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms could be cleaner.

Nice pool, great staff, great breakfast. The place is nice as it’s removed from the chaotic city where everyone hassles you until you yell at them to buzz off which is hard for Canadians to do. The man who did our laundry was awesome! The bedsheets were just ok quality.

The staff were great, the breakfast buffet was delicious and the nice man who picked up and delivered our laundry was so nice and cute. Our laundry was perfectly washed and ironed. If I went back to Aswan, I would stay at this hotel again . I was hoping they would have a bunch of pamphlets or options for day trips to see temples, but they didn’t have a display of info, one very expensive option, so we scrambled and found online.

- easy hotel pick up for tours . Staff- very friendly Hotel let me check out at 1 pm which i'm so happy because i have afternoon flight . None.
