Pyramisa Island Hotel Aswan

Our stay at this hotel was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to every detail. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and elegant. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. The hotel was amazing! The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Every employee went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and ensure we had everything we needed. The hospitality was truly exceptional, and the location along the Nile made the experience even more memorable. There was honestly very little to dislike. Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

Hotel is located on the Nile and offers great views of the Nile and both banks. How exotic to have to take a small boat to reach the hotel. Nice pool area. Breakfast was quite good. Staff were friendly and usually helpful! Rooms are very dated and were not very clean. After finding a dead bug and several hairs we had to ask to change rooms. We were offered several rooms but all had hairs in the bedsheets. Staff were helpful and we were compensated with a free dinner.

The air conditioner was too cold for me.

We only received one room key which was an actual key instead of a key card which was slightly inconvenient for a family.And the staff went and got some for us just in time for bed.

Service was absolutely impeccable. I was coming from a week at the Ritz-Carlton in Cairo and found service at Pyramisa absolutely delightful - in particular I am grateful to Christine for her help and care. My room was so lovely that I made a point of spending most of the day on my balcony, in utter bliss of the close-up Nile. It was sublime. My kids loved the pool. This place is a gem - I have no complaints.

The hotel itself is really cute and looks like the pictures online. The location is unique, being on an island, which gives it a very calm and relaxed atmosphere—Aswan in general was my favorite place in Egypt for this reason. The staff were generally very friendly and accommodating. I arrived around 9 a.m. and was able to check in by 11 a.m., even though official check-in was later, which I really appreciated. There is also a free shuttle boat that runs regularly (about every 30 minutes, even early morning), making it fairly easy to get to the mainland in about 10–15 minutes. Once I understood the setup, logistics were manageable. The hotel also offers breakfast packs if you need to leave early for tours, which is helpful. Overall, it was a calm, scenic stay and matched the photos well. Because the hotel is on an island, you are quite limited in terms of dining and movement unless you take the shuttle boat to the mainland. This can make early morning excursions a bit inconvenient, since you need to factor in boat travel time before your tour pickup. Food options within the hotel were also somewhat limited, since you are mostly relying on the hotel restaurants. One thing I didn’t enjoy was being repeatedly encouraged to leave a high rating immediately at checkout. While the staff were very attentive and friendly, I felt a bit pressured to open the app and leave a “10/10” review on the spot, which made the experience feel less natural.

The room service food was poor and was the worst part of the hotel experience.

Well laid out with phenomenal amenities NA

Quite frankly, everything we saw and touched was amazingly crafted and designed. Biggest highlight of the property the sitting areas by the Nile at night with light music and calming sounds of the Nile at night and the birds in the morning away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city style. Being on an island gave the property a unique advantage over other hotels in the area.

The property was so beautiful and very clean. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The manager Christine was excellent. She was willing to help us with all our requests. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone’s stay. I loved everything about the hotel. I with I had more time to explore it.

We loved the location, on an island. There is free shuttle boat every 30 min, 24/24. Several restaurants to choose from, reasonable prices. 2 big pools.
