The room was not clean, even we have asked to change the bedsheet, but they didn’t, or maybe they did but they are old and not clean. Need to be change otherwise not possible to go there again. Also for a 5 star hotel needs to have stuff in bathroom such as dental kit, cotton swab, etc, but there was no, and they told us you need to request in order to put in your room. Same for shoes cleaning.

Because we have visited so many times the Marriott Hotel I was upgraded. This was very nice. As I was travelling alone for work, my wife was "unhappy" that when all the times she came with me we were not upgraded. Hopefully next time again! The Asian restaurant upstairs is very good and could have a bigger menu. As always the pillows are too soft. We have mentioned this every time. You get two pillows but they are too soft. The bed itself is very good.

*pillows are so soo low , my husband and I got stiff necks from day 1 * the hotel needs to diversify the clientele they are promoting to through agencies, the hotel capacity was 95 % elderly over 60 and 70. We were the only family with kids for our whole stay of 6 days. And the staff at the buffet made us aware of complaints from our kids being loud…which is basically kids being kids on vacation! I suggest they diversify their marketing or make it adults only policy or in this case seniors only. It really felt like an elderly home and our kids are not welcome.

Very good location, hotel shuttle to centre of Athens as well as a hop on hop off bus stop steps from the lobby.

I was upgrated to an junior suite and that was nice. As a regular guest this was mich appriciated. I ate two evenings in the restaurant topfloor and it was great food! The pillows are terrible.too soft

The breakfast is very good and also they have added lactose free yogurt! What i do not like is that the pillows are too soft. Many years ago Marriott Hotel had always the best pillows and we even bought them for our private use. Now they are too soft. Yes you get two, but two soft makes it even worse when you lay your head on it.

The bed was comfortable, and some of the staff were kind. The breakfast was terrible, omelettes didn’t even look or taste like omelettes, the variety of food for breakfast was not much. After asking the waitress there that there’s no place to sit her respond was “you can sit outside” which I found impolite the way she answered.Towels were not changed during housekeeping service they were just folded back even after I complained I just got an extra hand towel in the room. Called room service, was spoken to with an attitude, was trying to get clarification about the food and I was told “it’s on the screen” which the menu itself was messy and disorganized, I’m aware the menu is on the tv but I’m trying to get clarification. Ordered room service there was no salt or pepper on the tray, the pasta was very bland I only tasted the pasta itself not the sauce might as well ate it without the sauce. Was not asked how my experience was as I was checking out. Was really unhappy with my overall stay, and usually I do stay in Marriott with my job in other countries and this is the first time I experience such a service in Marriott. As a Marriott hotel this was very disappointing.

I can't believe I spend 200 euros for a room and I can hear the person in the next room. Ruined it.
