All good. It’s a very traditional hotel, but it requires updating.

  • Engine customer Jul 2026

The locations The room were too small and everything was too old

We loved our room. It was very beautiful. Everything was there that we needed. The staff was very pleasant to deal with.

The room was very quiet. Having spent the night before at a luxury hotel, where the street noise was over the top, appreciated the quiet of the GB. Everything was close. The hotel appeared tired. The restaurant was difficult to make a reservation, even as a guest. The staff was a little aloof. There were no bathroom amenities, other than soap and lotion.

View of Acropolis The room I initially got was on the 7th floor, right below rooftop cate/bar/restaurant. All night heard thumping of music and then starting at 7:00 am heard chairs constantly sliding/moving from breakfast buffet. After complaining was relocated to 6th floor. Didn’t appreciate the whole experience

Unfortunately, I haven’t found the concierge’s restaurant recommendations particularly impressive. For example, when I asked for a special restaurant recommendation to celebrate our anniversary, I was directed to Balcony Restaurant & Bar, which did not feel like a memorable or exceptional choice for such an occasion.

The staff here exceptionally nice, so helpful and kind. The pool facilities were beautiful and the drinks were tasty! The hotel restruant had good food and the view was amazing. Such a romantic experience in this hotel. If i had to nitpick things I didn't like I'd say the rooms were definitely a bit small. My stay here was part of a 4 week 9 hotel vacation across Greece, Italy and, France and this hotel had the smallest room of all. That being said it was still a great room.

I like the location and last year when we stayed there the staff was nicer, the room was larger the view from the room was better and service was better. The room was too small. We were 3 people and the hotel knew this and put a cot in this already small room which made it horrible. The view from the room was terrible. I try to order a sandwich at the pool to take to my room and they would not allow it. They told me to go order it from room service, when I was right there at the pool. Last Summer we were there and we agreed to come back because it was great. But this year we decided we are not coming back. There are plenty of beautiful luxury hotels in Athens. It was a disappointment.

we had a room with balcony that was excellent. They should have warned us about the demonstrations in front of the Parliament much earlier.

I loved the architecture and the interior design, the room, furniture, wonderful SPA and a decent gym. Christmas decoration was stunning and subtle at the same time. Loved the location too and the utmost priority of mine was to feel safe as a solo female traveler, in the hotel itself and its suroundings. Staff was quite polite, educated, and their uniform did not go unnoticed either. I loved small gestures such as greeting you in the corridors, lobby. They should def. Implement a few adjustments to the replenishment of the water and coffee pods in case they have been used as a part of their daily routine. Guest shouldn’t have to especially request, however, è each time I called for the same, it was done promptly. The only thing I did not like was a concierge staff member who reassured me he will check upon something for me, without me insisting or so, he took my number but I have never really heard back from him. I travelled privately but looking for investment, so I just asked what areas in Athens would they (as locals) suggest.. that was it! It was a bit older staff member with a bit greyish hair (don’t know his name). If you cannot deliver just say I’m sorry I cannot do that, but just do not promise first and later not deliver the same. Afterward I did not even bother asking for any guidance the concierge team because I have lost trust.

The view from our room of the Acropolis was fantastic. The location of the hotel was fantastic. We stayed in room 706 at the end of October 2025. Unfortunately, the room was directly underneath the rooftop restaurant on floor 8. Every movement of diners getting in and out of their chairs made a contant din of chair scraping across the floor sound from very early morning to late at night. The sounds had a tooty horn sound to it, so multipy that times 25 times per hour over your head. It was sheer torture. I googled the issue and it is a known issue to management. All they have to do is put felt stick on coasters under the feet of the chairs in the overhead restaurant, yet they do not seem to care. This is a business/government account hotel, so maybe they do not care.

The rooftop restaurant and bar offered breathtaking views of the Acropolis and the city – perfect for a romantic evening. The food was delicious, and breakfast was a real highlight. The location is unbeatable – right next to Syntagma Square and steps away from Ermou Street, where you can shop for hours. Special thanks to the team for accommodating our late check-out request. We will definitely return on our next trip to Athens. Highly recommended!

location, view, restaurants, spa, gym, room service - everything was excellent. Rooms were on the smaller size, which didn't really matter because we weren't spending much time there. Shower worked well but was not a stand alone; it faced into a tub.

Quality and location. Very elegant and central. Nothing
