Not having been to Athens before, I didn't really understand the lay of the land, but was pleasantly surprised with it's stellar location - next door to Monastiraki and best yet, within a ~20-minute radius of main attractions: Acropolis, Roman and Ancient Agora, Hadrian's Library, and Plaka. The staff was wonderful (shout out to Elina!) and super helpful. I only took advantage of breakfast one day, and it was decent (3-4 options; I had eggs, bacon, toast, and a croissant with fresh-squeezed orange juice). The room was spacious, with a separate toilet stall from the rainfall shower, large windows with a view over the buzzy Athinas street. I was on the 4th floor next door to the elevator and, again, pleasantly surprised that noise wasn't an issue - it helps that there are few rooms on each floor (I also stayed during the week). The same goes for ambient street noise. A little carried through, but nothing that was concerning/an issue for me. An extra hook for a second towel (not a problem as I was travelling solo, but having a single hook never seems like enough), and a bath/shower mat.

Very clean, great location right next to the Metro Station, breakfast was plentiful. We weren't told initially, but later found out that we could order a take out breakfast since we were leaving for a tour before 8:00 pm. Staff was very helpful. Room was dark. I think some light bulbs needed to be replaced.

The 2nd batch of towels were old and rough. The first batch were soft and new.

It is in the city center, so noise from the street is a potential issue, but we slept well!

The staff where amazing. I had several requests that they fulfilled without a question.

Our room was comfortable and quiet. The host was helpful providing tourist information and booking a transport car to the airport. The breakfast, that was complimentary to guests at a nearby cafe, was delicious and filling. We walked to all our planned destinations in the city from the hotel.

Amazed to find such a comfy, affordable room right next to the Metro from the airport and in the center of town. And since staying alone for just 1 night, found the room spacious and the bathroom excellent! At this price, often rooms are closets. This was not! The block out front is a little cheesy, but just stroll around the corner and you are in a sea of outdoor bars and restos. One block! Not a problem.

The location directly next to the Monastaraki Metro stop is super handy! The staff is terrific - friendly & helpful. Just know there is no lobby but I was only overnighting so I did not need a lobby. The bed and linens were great! Bring your sound machine as this is in the middle of the action so can be a little noisy. Bring an eye mask, my room had a lit exit sign that I could not turn off.

Amazing Staff - they were super helpful to guide us for restaurants, attractions and so many other things. Room was spacious and clean. Great location as well.

Moreover, the breakfast shown in the photos was completely different from what was actually served, and the real plates had nothing to do with the advertised pictures.

Location. It was tucked away on a busy street close to everything.

Breakfast and location were excellent. Too noisy and the place smells too strong of cleaning chemicals.
