The bed was comfortable. We chose this place because we wanted to stay in Kerameikos, which is a great area of the city. Pink Mango Hostel in Athens looks nice at first glance, but the experience inside was really disappointing. The common toilet was dirty, and when I opened a drawer to look for the advertised hairdryer, I found personal items from other guests, including dirty socks. The door handles, both in the room and in the toilet, were also broken, which made it difficult to properly close or open doors. At one point, I even got stuck in the toilet. The hostel is also extremely noisy. The windows are not soundproofed as advertised, so you can hear everything from the street and inside the building. People were using the kitchen and making noise until around 1:30 am, and we had to ask twice for quiet in order to sleep. Our room was on the ground floor right in front of the main entrance, which meant constant noise from people coming and going. The lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and noise control made the stay really uncomfortable. Another aspect that stood out was that many guests seemed to be staying long-term, and the atmosphere felt a bit unwelcoming. In some moments, we even felt laughed at or ignored when raising concerns, which created the impression that we were stepping into someone else’s home uninvited rather than in a paid accommodation.

Comfortable bed and there’s privacy. Near the city center and restaurants and minimarts. Great value. None
