Amazing location, friendly staff, great amenities, very nice room, easy check-in, very responsive The AC was a bit loud and the proper remote was not available to adjust it. More attention to hygiene

The helpful staff, the location of most sights is within a short walk, at most 30 minutes. Because I have a slight walking problem, sometimes we used the subway for a stop or two. A lot of eating possibilities are near by and a super next door. No body will bother you even at night. There are a lot of bus lines and a subway within a two minute walk. If you need two separate beds specify it when you book, and You'll get a king-size mattress. At least that is how it worked for me. My granddaughter and I didn't kick each other and we slept comfortably. Only one thing. There are no draws or a small closet so your clothes are out and therefore the room always looks messy. On the other hand who comes to Athens, and stays in the room.

The place was really gloomy. Black can be modern and stylish, but it would have required much better lighting. It was literally pitch black in the room when we entered as the card slot for turning electricity (and the green light above it) on was blocked by the open door. AC control was next to it - I needed a torch to adjust it despite the lights being on. The dark walls with the really high ceilings made the small room look even smaller. The staff were friendly but not always easy to find. We did checkout by leaving the cards at the unstaffed small front desk with an open unprotected laptop on it. Luggage storage was in a hallway - we just kept the key to the front door (which was always locked) to get our luggage later. When retrieving luggage, the desk with the unlocked computer was still abandoned, so we just left the key there (at least a return box would be nice!). The establishment would have needed some more love and care as there was trash under the staircase, the soap bottle tray in the shower was rusty, the fridge did not fit the space designed for it, the battery cover of the door lock missing, etc. Nothing really bad, though, but just a long list of things that looked weird during the one night we stayed in the hotel.

My bed sheets had a stain. The room was stale. No one in reception and was more of an Airbnb room vibe.

supermarket and bakery and metro stations within 5minuts walk . Also the meeting point for the day trip bus station No breakfast.

Bed was comfortable, location convenient to everything, fairly clean, overall great for a quick stay! There wasn’t staff while we were there, which was fine but still. One of our pillows did have makeup on it. There is a limit for hot water.

But the room we were led to believe was ‘stylish’ was extremely small; there was no space to unpack our suitcases, and there was no wardrobe. The room had been cleaned in the visible areas, but some parts of the tables and the floor were dusty and dirty. The bathroom and toilet area was very small and impractical. As a woman, I found it difficult to use the room because there was no space to comfortably store my belongings. If I were to go again, I certainly wouldn’t choose it. It was uncomfortable.

The only thing i did not enjoy about my stay was the shower and water temperature. We were able to get one shower of hot water in our stay and had to call maintenance multiple times to see about the water temperature. They tried there best to fix it but it was not ideal. Luckily we were only there for two nights.

The hot water is a big issue. You need to wait 15 minutes for the water to get hot and then you have only 10 minutes of hot water, after which you need to wait another 15 minutes and so on... The hotel positions this feature as going green but it's a major inconvenience.

Room decor was very nice, special touches included a complimentary champagne bottle and coffee pods, short walk to the central part of Athens, next to a very good bakery, and staff was communicative regarding a late check in. I would gladly stay here again, but some small things were just a bit off. There are 15 minute hot water rules which was fine, but the hot water temperature was not limited and I burned my hand in the sink. I mostly used the stairway, but the timer on the light in the stairway shuts off very quickly, and I almost fell down the stairs in the dark the first time because I wasn't expecting it. My room was on the first floor, and during the day you could hear the bass line - and just the bass line - of the music playing in the store below the hotel, which was very distracting when trying to nap. Room was clean but was starting to show a bit of wear.

Location was great! A small walk from the popular tourist spot.

I loved the value, and the cleanliness of the room. The champagne was a bonus perk. It was nice since I was celebrating my birthday. I did not understand the check in process and I did not know/understand how to operate the lights in my room.
