Alva Athens Hotel

We tried the breakfast one day, but it was pretty poor, not as exciting as it could have been.

Stayed for one night. The hotel was clean, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall service was good. It offered great value for the price and met our needs.

Unfortunately I expected a lot more than What it actually offered. Every time you took a shower it filled up almost the whole floor outside of the shower itself.. Nothing to sustain the water from leaking out all over the place. It also had a certain air of moldiness to it. I certainly was not impressed at all. My main problem was with the man who handled the front desk he was terrible obnoxious and overbearing. The ladies were were nice and understanding. I don't like saying complete negativity to any hotel but I'm gonna give it 3 stars out of 10. I believe that is even too much.

This hotel makes exploring Athens effortless. The Acropolis, Monastiraki, and Plaka are all within easy reach. It’s located perfectly between modern convenience and historic charm. Couldn’t ask for a better base.
