Monument Hotel

The location is great- the neighborhood is old, busy and close to everything. The hotel is s little hidden at first, but we found it to be perfectly situated and a wonderful respite from the noise and bustle. The rooms are beautifully designed- modern, yet pay homage to the history of the building. They are clean with high ceilings that make the space feel large and airy. The breakfast and cappuccinos were delicious. The support staff from the front desk to bell people to breakfast manager were lovely-professional, friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. There was nothing we didn't like

Amazing property, beautiful and very clean. The staff were wonderful, attentive and kind. They even had a dyson air dryer in the bathrooms, totally a luxurious experience. Breakfast was amazing.

Beautiful Historic Hotel very close to Monistraki and historical sights. We stayed in room number five and it had a gorgeous balcony! The bed was very comfortable, the decor was beautiful, and the bathroom was gorgeous! We also enjoyed the sauna and steam room. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The neighborhood seems a little bit gritty, but we had no problems. It’s like any big city, but apparently very safe.

We had an excellent stay at Monument Hotel. Great location, everything is in walking distance. The staff was fantastic, always greeting us with a smile and really made us feel like home. Breakfast was delicious and access to the steam room and sauna was a great way to finish up our days after all the walking and sightseeing we did in Athens. I would highly recommend staying at Monument Hotel.

Convenient location, gorgeous interiors, and the best, most helpful front desk staff I've ever met at a hotel. The Monument team did so much to make our visit to Athens fantastic. Extremely good breakfast included, too!

It was just a little odd to have the shower in the bedroom separate from the rest of the bathroom. That's all I can think of! Otherwise it was an excellent stay.

The public areas are beautiful, we had a superb room, with a simply stunning outdoor terrace backing onto a historic Byzantine church. The staff kindly offered to bring breakfast to our room and we enjoyed it on the terrace. Nothing
