Positives: very friendly, helpful staff; GREAT location for tourists/families/groups; quiet; nice breakfast buffet; clean; air conditioning was needed and it worked well! Negatives: very small room; more drawer and closet space would have been helpful.

The location was perfect for accessing the major attractions and the staff was outstanding! Efi was so kind and helpful with all my questions. Breakfast was impressive and I never needed lunch, no matter how active I was (and I was). Not so much ‘didn’t like’ but be aware. If you get room 101, which I did, it is right behind the reception desk and that adds an extra noise factor. Not unmanageable, but there. It is a small room, perfect for one, two would be crowded. The shower is also unique. It is a VERY narrow, step down into, two level tub. It was starting at first, and a little slippery.

Hotel was close to the Acropolis and restaurants. Great breakfast included. Beautiful hotel with lovely rooms. Would stay again!! That ferry or airport shuttle not included. Small bathrooms.

Great location, nice and clean, has a lift! Small rooms but that’s ok… lovely terrace on 6th floor. Not enough fresh fruit for breakfast. Large groups took it all and not enough for me!

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent location. Nice breakfast. We had a great view of the Parthenon from our balcony.

There are plenty of good restaurants. We did not like the one suggested by the receptionist (Cave of Acropolis https://maps.app.goo.gl/Fxqgywcm5BxJ19cP8). So, we went to the Yard (https://maps.app.goo.gl/5rJx4uWxp7atgMvm8?g_st=ic ) and Arcadia (fully gluten-free! | https://maps.app.goo.gl/wWnQmSaF4PoHGAY48?g_st=ic) who offered excellent meals with an amazing service. The breakfast is simplistic but OK, unless you suffer from allergies or intolerances. ? We don’t recommend the single room on the third floor, which has no view on the city. During the second night, the bathroom stank of a very nasty drain odor (like rotten eggs). However, the other rooms were great! One more thing, we were missing a real shower, instead of a bath tub.

It was great and perfect location to everyone Athen. There is nothing to complain about.

This is an excellent location and we paid extra for a view of the Acropolis, which was well worth it. It is conveniently located and very comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Location and staff were very good . You can walk to acropolis and the rooms are comfy and have nice balconies from which you can see the acropolis . The continental breakfast is also very nice and great way to start your day . I wish the rooms were slightly larger but being Europe they are very good overall .

We enjoyed our stay at Philippos Hotel. The hotel was clean, staff were welcoming, and it was located very close to the Acropolis and museum. The breakfast was sufficient. The view from the top of the hotel of the Parthenon was great. We would stay here again the next time when visiting Athens. There was some street noise at night. You may wish to bring ear plugs.

Location is great. Staff professional. Decently large balcony. Reasonably affordable price. Window curtains don't block all sunlight. Generic breakfast options. Coffee maker seemed limited, no creamer options, just milk. Provided bathroom towels do not include a small washcloth.

Fantastic location Fantastic staff The Phillipos is located in a non touristy section of Koukaki with lovely little coffee/wine bars and great tavernas nearby. The hotel is very cozy with a very kind and caring staff. Nothing

The location is quiet and peaceful, yet very convenient and close to the metro station, which made getting around the city very easy. The staff were absolutely wonderful — very kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. A special thank you to Elias for his exceptional kindness and support. He truly went above and beyond to help with everything and made my stay even more comfortable. He is genuinely an amazing person. Many thanks to the entire lovely team explain—it was a pleasure staying here, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.
