Play Psyri, a member of Brown Hotels

The location is great for restaurants and things to see. Very vibrant section of town. Lots of antique shows and antiquities. You can walk around easily or take the subway which is close. The room is comfortable and modern. Unfortunately the location also means very noisy. Bands don’t stop playing until midnight. Bring earplugs if you intend to sleep before that time. There is no staff present despite the reception room. It would be nice to have someone on hand. They could supply the earplugs and other little things to make sure the stay is great.

My room was so big, with an enormous patio in the back so it was super quiet and private. I actually liked the limited front desk which I don’t even need - but they were super helpful and responded immediately on WhatsApp. They even cleaned my room for the short stay too which I thought was so nice. The room had everything I needed - love the empty refrigerator so I can put my take-away and water to stay cold and fresh. Nespresso machine and kettles are exactly what I want and expect in a hotel. The bed is also so comfy!! Absolutely nothing - everything was perfect for me

No elevator, but the staff were kind enough to take our baggage up for us. Also there are a lot of restaurants with music playing at night so if you're an early sleeper or a light sleeper, it might be a problem for you.

This was in the PERFECT location for exploring the city! There’s a ton of food options, shopping, street art and people watching! I loved everything about this place, honestly. I will say it’s close to some places with live music. So if you’re someone who likes to go to bed early or is a light sleeper, bring your ear plugs! But the building is pretty sound proof with the layout of the bedrooms.

The staff and room conditions Sleepless night, with live music from the restaurant inside the room, although there are good musicians and the traffic of motorcycles and people until 04:00. The staff is charming and helpful, as well as the room conditions.....but the stairs to the second floor, God bless us. In short, a sleepless night and fear with the stairs to the room. The location is the outer ring of the charming Psiri, but if you are over thirty and want to sleep at night and not fall down the stairs! This is not the hotel for you!!!

This hotel was clean and in a good area. The stairs are not made for older adults. They wind up and have no hand railing. Their dangerous stairs to walk on. There was no attendant on site after 5:00 pm. Our TV did not work. The receptionist did not follow through with restaurant recommendations and a receipt for payment. She said we could store our luggage behind the counter. This did not happen. She said the hotel would have an attendant back on duty at 7:30 am. The attendant did not show up.

Perfect Location Very clean The shower was not convenient and not maintained well.

My room was on the second floor (which, in terms of stairs, could easily be considered the third or even fourth), and getting up there with a 23-kilo suitcase was no easy task. I would have expected to be made aware of this in advance

The vibes in the area is outstanding, the street level studio is very nice have a unique experience especially if its weekend. The other rooms are very nice and suitable. The staff in general where super nice and welcoming.

Wonderful staff!! The receptionist is extremely helpful. Comfortable bed, basic and airy rooms. We loved the balcony. I will be back also because of the taverna. No elevator. Basic rooms.

Perfect location in the colorful neighborhood of Psyri, close to plenty of restaurants, bars ans cafes. The room was clean and comfortable and staff was very nice. The balcony of the room was not like in the photos which was a bit disappointing.

Confortable bed Noise !!! Nobody answers calls

location is right in the center. noise from outside, towels were not clean in the room so I asked to change them.

We loved everything about Play Psyri Athens from the location, to the room, the staff, the cleanliness! It is located perfectly, everything is walking distance or if it is too hot short cheap uber ride. Dining options around are all great and lots of nice bars for the evening! There was nothing we didn't like. That being said, if you are someone that sleeps early it may not be the best option as the street is lively (with great live local music) until midnight-ish.

Comfy bed, bright room Extremely. noisy - poor sound insulation. If you aren't going there to party just avoid this hotel.

Our room was lovely and modern and clean. Lovely kitchenette and en suite was lovely. Comfy bed. Spacious room. Our room was up 3 flight of concrete stairs with little hand railings. Dangerous stairs. Our lady receptionist on Monday help bring up our cases which we thought was lovely gesture. We had a lot as we were just off a cruise and had a lot of luggage. The issue of stairs might not affect you if you travelled lighter. But you need to be go on your feet to climb up and down them.
