Otherwise the price was right and turned out to be a peaceful and convenient stay close to Auburn and downtown Skaneateles.

Location is very convenient, and, while it wasn't spotless, it was clean enough. Floor could have used a mopping - that was the main issue. We enjoyed sitting at the table in the carport and in the gazebo, but they need to do some maintenance on the latter's steps and clean up the back so you don't have to look at an old vending machine. Bathroom is very basic, but the shower water pressure was good, and the hot water came on quickly. And the bed and pillows were comfortable. Better than some much more expensive places. There was some grit on the sheets, which was odd. Grit, not dirt, like from gravel or gravel dust. On the whole, I was fine for three nights but wouldn't want to stay longer. We used the fan rather than AC, and it was a bit musty but not bad. Would be nice to be able to open the front and bathroom windows. But the sills were so dirty, I didn't try.

Our TV didn't work! Well, perhaps it did but we did not know how to work it and there were not any written instructions anywhere in the room. By the time we were ready to watch, it was very late and staff was asleep and unavailable.

Pool dirty, bath dirty, noisy neighbours. No staff when we arrived. Looks abandoned. Will never come back

My son has history of asthma. He is well controlled with medications. However, he woke up in the middle of the night coughing, congested, blowing his nose. We ended requesting a refund because I was concerned he was going to progress to bronchitis. The person who was renting a room next to us left his TV on all night which was extremely loud. We struggled sleeping because we could hear his TV all night. The next day we requested a refund because my son wasn’t feeling well. The manager did return our money. The air quality in the room was horrible. I think there might be mold.

Floors were sticky, bathroom was tiny. The door lock was not secured. You could see the outside all the way around the door frame. You could see the door was broken in.

Room was not clean and there was someone else’s hair all over the bathroom door and shower. Could not walk barefoot as the floor made our feet dirty!

Overall a good place to stay for 1 night.

Rented 3 rooms, Met the owner, very nice. room was clean but very dated. Bathroom and showers are very small, unfortunately room 8 blasted the TV through the very thin walls. Thought havving the AC continously running would overwhelm it but had to bang on the wall at 4am to get some peace and sleep. Definitely overpriced, hopefully the owner will read this and implement some much needed improvements.

Went for a swim then into town. Grounds and room was immaculate. Wi-fI, cable tv and self-regulating AC….AND comfortable beds. Felt we definitely got our money’s worth. Will stay here again in the future!

The room I had was old looking . Very dark inside. The door was hard to close. With gaps along the door frame. The room had a funny smell and the bed spread was oddly sticky. I definitely didn't feel safe. I ended up leaving at 8:30 that night after my daytime plans. I canceled my night time plans and went home. This room is not worth 158.00.

They staff were nice. The site itself needs help.

The office at WW was never open. The lock on my door did not seem very secure. There was a chain on the wall, but no place on the door to attach it.

Sitting area outside the unit to smoke was so nice and the drinks and snacks provided appreciated also fresh clean bedding and room was nice Tv choices / reception barely working off and on . And no curtain on the bathroom window was creepy , I know there were woods behind but trees can have cameras too ! my husband put a bag up,so all good there ,also no fan in there either but clean.

Plenty of parking b/c no one was there! Plenty of towels and a noisy AC unit in the wall where there was once a window, two luggage racks, a small coffee maker and two packages of coffee, and some bars to eat. TV, but we didn’t watch much. Everything was old, like from the 1960s, except the bed, and the bathroom was probably updated in the ‘70s/‘80s. The sign by the road was very faded and hard to see. It seemed like very few upgrades were done since the motel was built, maybe in the late 1950s or early 60s? We give it a D grade, but it is close to Skaneateles, which was the goal since hotels there are much more money. In this case, the extra money for a nicer room would have been worth it. The woman who checked us in was fine, not unfriendly. Businesslike. Glad we only had to stay one night!

It’s a cheap stay, and you get what you pay for. I felt safe at least! And the bedding wasn’t bad. The ac worked! The tv was hard to operate, but there was cable. Parking was easy.

We stayed at this place, as we were attending a wedding in the area. One of the reasons we booked it was the loungers around the pool. The plan was to hang out by the pool in the morning / early afternoon and read and relax before the wedding. The pool area as shown in the pictures of this place does not exist. It was very disappointing. There was not a comfortable chair to be found to read outside and relax.

Not at all what I expected for $150.00-shower curtain had mold on it.no recognizable sign for the lodging-the smell outside smelled like something dead.-the pictures were not what I got-I made a bad mistake and I would not recommend!!

We didn't like the lack of care of the property on the outside. The dead plants and sticks and such should have been picked up around the property. It was June. It was not like it was April. Why not refresh your outside with flowers and also a flag and a better road sign. Pick up the gazebo area and not have broke things sitting around.

This is an older motel that appears to be in the process of being restored. The beds were comfortable and generally it was clean, but the floor needed a good mopping. The location is great. The managers were a young couple who were responsive to our needs. I wish them luck in turning this into an affordable stay near Skaneateles, NY.
