Clean, convenient location, great breakfast, helpful staff.
-
Kitchen not fully stocked…no usable knife , no fry pan.
-
Excellent central location, clean and comfortable room. We realised the Wi Fi didn't auto connect after a while, and had trouble using the TV. Would be good to just have a live TV options to save all the frustration of trying to get apps to work.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Decent amenities. Decent restaurant. Heat pump in bedroom not working and no extra blankets in wardrobe. Heat pump in lounge not working; had to plug in spare heater in cupboard.

The Auckland City Hotel is a good solid stay. Well kept, clean, friendly helpful staff. The rooms are basic but comfortable and fully equipped. WiFi works throughout hotel. Breakfast was great with both hot and cold choices. The restaurant and bar are worth a visit. I enjoyed dinner, steak with seasonal veg, mashed potatoes and a salad. You can tell the ACH cares about hospitality and its property. Centrally located to attractions and one block from the Sky Tower AirPort Express bus station. Good value. Would stay again. Recommend.

The room was extremely cold. The space heater did not radiate, so you had to sit practically touching it to warm up. I doubled the blanket to keep warm enough at night.

Having everything close by, Restaurant, car park and walk to sky tower. Close to Victory Park, and waterfront. Rooms were very clean, with personal touch of who cleaned the room before we arrived
-
Best location, walking distance to Skyview tower, and good food options, next to big grocery Very congested, dirty couch and carpets, comforter very thin, washroom small and only one with some drainage issues, not spacious enough for family of five.

Few more lamps. The modern recess lighting is hard on the eyes

staff were lovely

Should consider for early checkin

Good location , excellent coffee shop by the lobby. The staff were really helpful . Nothing

Horrible room with wood damage that looked like previously was taped over, but has seeped out with probably mold that had a horrible smell. Front desk was informed. They were sold out. Couldn’t move us. Room shouldn’t have been used + floor drain backup!

Very clean, with a spacious room. The beds were very comfortable (although the single beds seemed quite narrow) with quality bed linen. There was almost no internal noise but some from the road (my room faced away from the street so front rooms will be considerably noisier). Location is very handy for the airport bus and only a 15-20 min walk to the ferry terminal. There is a bond charged to your card - something which I loathe but which seems to be becoming more common. I just make sure to take lots of pictures of the room as I leave to prove that I have left it in excllent condition. Some reviewers have commented on the 'dodgy' vibe of the street, but I never felt unsafe. There are many quality hotels in the area, plus theatres etc.

The staff was very helpful, accommodating , nice & friendly. The breakfast buffet was really good.

Convenient location from Sky Tower. Easy walk with our suitcases from Airport bus drop off.

It was good value for money and the staff were very communicative and helpful. It was easy to get to and a short walk into the CBD. We couldn't hear any of our neighbours. The breakfast was fine. We had a 2 bedroom apartment but it was very cramped - no room in the bedroom to fully open a suitcase, and you had to shower with the door open to be able to wrap the towel around yourself afterwards. The TV was basic (no smart TV or chromecasting here!).

This is a great location, right by the Sky Tower and many shops and restaurants. My suite was lovely. It had everything you could need. It was comfortable and clean. But the best part, was the wonderful breakfast buffet. So many choices and everything was delicious. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Auckland.

Couldn't find where to park so had to quickly pull in front to find out where the parking lot was as could not get threw on the phone. Also walls are a bit thin can hear furniture moving in the next room due to wooden floors

Very quiet and well appointed. Room size good. Bed comfortable.
