Had a good stay here. The hotel is in good shape overall. My room was clean, but not perfect. Some noticeable wear and tear that comes with use and age. There is a parking fee if you want to use the garage, otherwise you have to park on the street. Now, on to the best part of my stay. The breakfast is excellent! They had made to order omelets and plenty of other items to choose from. Even had salmon with all the toppings like capers and copped red onion. And, oh my, the grits were delicious. Just perfect! This was not your typical free hotel breakfast. Way better. If my travels ever take me back to Augusta, Georgia, I will be staying here again.

First off when you get there it’s very confusing where to enter to check in ect, because there is a lot of construction which I know isint there fault . However, When I arrived I had paid online for this hotel so I could take my boards across the street for nursing and this was the only 4 star hotel I had seen online nearby. When I arrived the women at the front was rude, she asked me my name and then just pointed at the card machine and said “ 15 dollars” I had no idea what it was for , I told her I already paid online and she pointed to the machine again saying 15 dollars you will get it right back . So I pull out a 20 dollar bill and she responds “15 dollars card only” and points at the card machine. I feel like there should be more explanation to what it’s for because I had paid 165 online already for just 1 night. After paying it and being told I would get it right back she hands me the receipt and states 8 of that will come out for parking so actually you get 7 back.but I do have to say the lady the next morning was much more friendly and professional. When entering the room it is very plain I was suprised for a 4 star and also the bathroom had hair all around the trash can it didn’t look like it had been cleaned well. I hardly ever actually take the time to leave a review anywhere I usually just go with the flow and let things be but I figured it was worth writing down so others know when they book this.

Room had a nice sofa to sit on in addition to the bed. TV was a little small. Hotel was clean, but showing a little age. Nice location on the main street in downtown Augusta.

Everything was great per usual

Major road construction in front of hotel. We should have been informed prior to making reservations. Nice hotel bar, but no Pino Nior wine, also rooftop bar is closed on Monday. Our toilet would not function properly, maintenance showed up and changed a faulty valve.

Property was convenient to downtown area, hospitals and Augusta University. Staff was friendly and helpful but the hotel itself was not what I expected. The atmosphere was dated and felt very tired and boring.

Great option since the nearby convention hotel was booked up. Room was very spacious with a great setup, though the rooms are showing some age and wear and tear particularly in the bathroom. Beware of the construction immediately in front of the hotel with the roads torn up, the drive to pull into the parking garage is easy to miss. Walking to nearby restaurants is also a struggle due to road construction, suggest driving over walking. But the staff at the hotel were fantastic and very helpful. Breakfast was a standout with custom-order omelets everyday!
