Nice staff and experience there was good besides the construction going on right out side our window. Also when our AC was on it smelt bad like pee and mildew. We’re lazy and weren’t there much so we kinda just dealt with it but I’m very sure the hotel would have changed me rooms if I did ask.

It was very good price for the quality. Very few places surprise me and this place definitely exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were great and super friendly. The room was great, very large and equipped with all the essentials. My only gripe with the room was the outdated TVs. Another thing worth noting was that the hallway floors felt like they were soft? Like sunken in, perhaps due to previous water damage. When I was there, there was construction going on so I assume it will be addressed soon. Overall I will definitely recommend and hope to come back soon.

- Walking into the building, I was greeted by an employee who had the biggest smile on her face and was most accommodating. I inquired if I could stay an extra night and she replied, 'absolutely'. - When I reached my floor, I could tell that it had recently been upgraded with new laminent flooring and wall paint. Entering my room, the immediately smelled a very pleasant aroma. The full kitchen, along with cups/plates, a couple of pots/pans, and utensils were neatly arranged. The a/c was on and the temperature was a big relief from the hot/humid outside. The layout of my room (a studio) was very well arranged. The bathroom was well appointed and there was a rather large closet with wooden hangers, an iron, and an ironing board all waiting to be used. - Overall, this location is very close to everything, well appointed rooms, and very quiet at night making for a good night's sleep. Also, the cost is very affordable. I'll be returning to this location on future trips to Austin, TX. Whether for a short stay or a longer stay, I recommend this hotel!

Hotel was nice and bed was comfy.

Run down motel, smelled awful, dogs barking in rooms, hair on towels, took $100 out for a hold. Rust on everything, stains on walls and furniture. Check in staff was super friendly

Maddie at the front desk was wonderful, empathetic, engaging, and she made us feel very welcomed. My boyfriend and I had been out of our apartment for a week (and in and out of another hotel) and were stressed by the time we got to the hotel, but her customer service was unmatched and it gave us a bit of relief and care after sharing our story with her. The room was also comfortable and had all the kitchenware (especially the real coffee maker) to make it feel more at home. Thanks for the customer service and stay!

I asked to speak with the manager, manager refused to speak with me saying he didn't want to. This place is terrible. A few of the staffers that handle food prep and cleaning are okay. But all of the front end staff is appalling. Never stay here!

that there were cockroaches

The hotel charged me for three nights even though I only booked one through hotels.com. The front desk worker did help me get a refund, which I appreciated, but he definitely didn’t seem too happy to be there. Room was not as nice as the pictures portray. Some dirty areas.

Location Laundry and fitness center were closed and notice wasn’t given.

This place is in serious need of updating/renovations etc. It just smelled old! Sonesta you can do better.

Great big oaks to chill under, beautiful potted plants added a nice touch to the entry way. Room was spacious and equipped with all I needed during my stay.

A couple of things that I'd bring a little more attention to would be the requirement of small deposit. I made this reservation through the app and there was no mention of deposit required. It wasn't a problem however for those that are budget minded it could create a hiccup. Also to note, I had phoned regarding an item that I accidently left in the room after check out. They couldn't locate it in lost & found, so they were going to check with House keeping and phone me back the next day. The returned call never materialized.

It’s was okay for the price. Should have researched better for another property.

Solid stay…no complaints.
