Brit Hotel Avignon Sud

Everything is very clean. Nice bar and dining/ lounge area. Very quiet at night. There is always someone competent and kind at the front desk to help. Special thanks to Dave and the gent whose name I will certainly botch so I will refer to as the young man who’s originally from Algeria. You guys were so kind, extra helpful, and your availability to speak English saved us from a lot of stress. Limited parking but at least you are permitted to park at a property next door when the lot is full. The locked gate system is a little confusing when you first arrive. The front entrance doesn’t seem like a front entrance. They will only give you one room key which is inconvenient when there are two of you with different agendas for the day.

staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and comfortable. restaurant for evening meal was good. breakfast choices were good. swimming pool was a bonus. beds were comfortable close to town bathroom was to small for a larger person and the hair dryer was very poor.

Good location, close to the motorway. Secure parking, great food. Confusing check in arrangements. The email said no later than 8.00pm, we were delayed, had a call half an hour before asking where we were. The strange thing was, the restaurant was open much later, so there were members of staff available to help.

Air condition was leaking water . Poos was ok Staff was not bad Carpert was DIRTY!! and the ALARM WENT OFF FOR LIKE 20 minutes without any explanation!!! Pool

Well located for our needs. Very small room- window need changing not well insulated. Room location at end of corridor next to laundry area : noisy. When using the shower water everywhere- we’re charged 15€ each for breakfast were told breakfast till 10am showed up at 9:10am (Sunday morning) : no more pastries no more bread. Were told we were too late (Anthony) and when I mentioned we were told (during check in with David) breakfast was served until 10 to 10:30 his answer was he doesn’t know what he’s talking about been there 2 days!!! Total lack of professionalism ! Now a refund for breakfast would be appreciated since it was a bit expensive for a piece of toast a coffee and a small apple juice each!!

Staff gave instructions about how to visit Avignon. Cars are banned, but there's free parking and shuttle bus that I'd never have known about had they not told me. Wifi was very good. Breakfast was very good. The bathroom light in the room originally assigned didn't work, so I was given a different room. The carpet was heavily stained. The shower wall was cracked!

Staff were great. Helpful and informative. I should have found a place closer to where I wanted to be. That’s on me. But the staff helped explain the bus to me.
