Extended Stay America Select Suites - Cleveland - Avon

The bathroom was nice and clean and the shower was nice because it had good water pressure. Waited in the waiting room to check in for over 20 minutes. Got to our room to realize it only had a queen bed. I was under the impression that since there were two guests there would have been 2 queen beds. I stay at this hotel often and most stays have been good. Outside of the hotel had trash strung all over and it smelled very bad.

The place is undergoing renovations. We’ve been there before & it was great, but it’s been sold 2 times since. I think in a month or so it will be back to it’s usual standards. We’ve always enjoyed that rooms have a full size fridge w/ freezer & not a mini-fridge. Unseasonably warm this time, but air conditioning worked Very well! Looking forward to returning next year to see all the improvements.

The bed was not good. It was stinky like there was dried fish and insects. The bed was not very comfortable.

Nothing Nothing

I enjoyed my stay. I was quiet inside but highway could be heard but not too loud. It was really cold upon entering, so I turned off the air . I didn’t like that left my food and OJ in the fridge ‍♀️

Not much the front desk guy was nice The front desk clerk though nice gave us keys that didn't work. Then when they were fixed someone else was in that room. Once we got that sorted out it was like 40 mins of waiting to get into the room from all this. Room was unclean. Walls are gross, kitchen stove sticky, the floors were not washed there were spill marks and sticky stops all over. Hair and bugs in the corners and edges. When leaving there was dog pee by the elevator and it had been walked threw so pee tracks were all-over very very unsanitary.

The staff was nice but the facilities are dated and poorly ran.

Received a phone call at 4pm, checking at 3, advising hotel was overbooked. Had to scramble to find another hotel. Not happy that I wasnt informed earlier in the day

No toilet paper and all they could supply us was a 1/2 roll saw bugs in cabinets when looking for paper and tissues and general lack of cleaning throughout

The place was clean. There was no amenities none.

Nothing i checked out early Everything. Bed was uncomfortable, room was dirty, kitchenette was barely functional, bugs, and the bathroom was dingy

We checked in between 5:30 and 6. We went to our room. When you opened the door, there was a nightstand or some type of furniture in front of the door, a milk just on the ground, and other things strewn around the room. There was food on the top of the fridge. I thought the clerk gave us the wrong room. It wasn't. She said she had just come on shift, that there wasn't a maid available, and that there were no other rooms left. We had to scramble to find a different hotel. I had packed a cooler with the intent of cooking. It cost more for our 3-night stay because we had to eat out all weekend. I will never book with this chain again. I wish I had taken a photo of that room!
