The shower in the bath is not ideal for elderly. My mom is 75 and almost fell trying to go in and out. Other than that, everything was great

It's a chateau. A beautiful old building which has been sensitively modernised and is obviously well cared for. We had a huge room on top floor - an attic room very with exposed beams which has been stylishly updated. Big TV Comfortable chairs Very comfy bed Bedside lights bright enough to read by! Big bathroom - big bath - two sinks Efficient responsive heating Kettle and coffee machine Staff helpful when one of our bikes needed a running repair Bathroom lighting rather gloomy No covered bike storage available - it's taken up by the hotel's hire bikes Location is pleasant but the hotel is a short detour for anyone cycling along the Maas

We were absolutely satisfied with the hotel and the staff. The room was huge and comfortable, and the bathroom was huge and clean. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The location is amazing. The hotel is located in the park. The restaurant looks like a winter garden, and it has a view on the garden with a small pond and sunbathing terrace.

Location and looks Rooms are very noisy. You can hear 3 floors and all rooms!!! Besides that the ground floor rooms can flood… we had to move upstairs due to flooding bottom in middle of the night!

Staff were very good and friendly. Room was spacious,a large bathroom with a bath and the bed was comfortable. Large TV. Restaurant is nice and the meals were very good. Only 10 minutes drive too the small town of Baarlo. Unfortunately the first night there was a huge party very close in the neighbourhood and they were playing extremely loud music from around 20:30 until exactly 05:00 the next morning so didn't get a decent night's sleep. Second Night was nice and peaceful. The same morning went to breakfast at 09:30 and practically everything was gone. No doubt there was a large group beforehand and the staff were busy with replacing but that didn't help me at this specific time. However the second day 08:30 was much better and everything was available with decent choices of thing's to eat.

Friendly smiling check in lady on reception. Lovely dining room with efficient and friendly staff. Food was well cooked and delicious. Good choices for breakfast
