The cabin rooms were large, clean and generally comfortable. But there was some mould on the bathroom ceiling that really should be taken care of. The office with the front desk was empty and locked, and it took a couple of phone calls to some other location to determine what chambers we had, and that the doors were unlocked with the keys inside.

Situation, quiet, room size. Terrace outside castle and garden for taking breakfast, beautiful. Ample safe parking. No lighting outside to find room and to follow paths on dark night. No tea coffee making possibility in room. Soap shower gel dispenser in shower broken and empty. Restaurant food really not great, not up to previous standards and mediocre. Burger and gravelax salmon starter were very poor. Breakfast selection very poor, no fruit salad, Danish pastries very poor, nothing home made, even fruit juice!!!

The location of Domaine Du Val De Cèze was great for me coming from the train station (it's just a few blocks behind the train station without needing to enter the train station). By foot, Domaine Du Val De Cèze is just 4-5 blocks from lots of shops. I easily went into town each day to explore. I enjoyed how peaceful their side of town is (but still being so close to everything). Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open when I was there--because of winter season, I believe. But I was given multiple suggestions and directions to other options nearby. So just something to be aware of.

Lovely chateau and garden, really nicely decorated rooms/apartment at ground floor with enough privacy and comfortable beds, quiet, amazing location foto have breakfast/lunch/dinner on the terrace of the chateau/restaurant, well sized swimming pool with plenty of sun chairs

Nice park, a lot of birds. Nice pool and a good breakfast. Restaurant not open all days. Hard to get food on Sundays.

good location and very nice « castle » and park around it. very nice staff full breakfast very poorly maintained rooms (we rented 3). One room was a total damp and another’s AC didn’t work plus it was dirty.

The food overall was very very good.we both had the octopus which was simply outstanding.Breakfast is ok.nothing too grand,but very adequate.the staff are lovely.definitely will come again The pool is a lovely feature and we used it,but it could have done withe a proper clean.there was algae all down one side,which was a real shame.we are both 80 and there was no handrail to enable us to get in and out of the pool,so we had to slide in on our bottoms which was awkward and quite dangerous.
