La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Baltimore N / White Marsh

I normally stay at the Edgewood, MD location, but it was all booked, so after searching, I decided to book here. After driving 6 hrs in traffic I arrive to check in only to find out the elevator is broken. Too late to book somewhere else on such short notice so I have No choice but to stay. My room is on the 4th Floor! I now have to hike up 4 flights after unpacking my car. I enter the room and it smell like mildew. There is like a musky hot steamy feeling. Like everything feels damp. It’s HOT! So I cut the ac temp down to cool the room off while I shower. I get out the shower it’s still Hot on my way out I made the attendant at the front desk aware. I said I’m gonna let it run and if it’s still hot when I return I need A new room. Honestly I’m just trying to avoid having to switch rooms and possibly floors because the elevator is not working. I return Hours later room still hot and the hotel was sold out so I had to sleep in that hot musty room. It was awful. Hot in the room and the stairs going up and down. They did move me the next day but that room was next to a party that lasted until 3am loud music people the smell of smoke just horrible experience. I will definitely be reaching out to talk about some sort of compensation for such a bad experience.

Property was cleaned thus our second stay and the elevator was out of service both times.

Not good!

We were very disappointed - the website and other online information say that there is an outdoor pool. When we arrived, we were told that it has been two years since they had a pool (meanwhile, there are still signs up at the hotel for where the pool was). There was trash outside of some of the first floor doors that was not picked up while we were staying there. The elevator did not work so we had to carry out luggage up the stairs - I can't remember a hotel not having a functional elevator. I would not recommend staying here.

The vinyl flooring was absolutely disgusting, you couldn’t tell until after you took a shower and see the floor mat brown from the floor being dirty. Never got extra towels during my 4 day stay there. Checking in there was an Indian guy helping me and he never mentioned when breakfast was. Didn’t know there was a weight room until I overheard another staff member talking about it. He failed to mention the elevator was out so I had to search for the steps because he didn’t tell me where they were either. Never found an ice machine because I wasn’t told there was one. 1 staff member was helpful, never got her name unfortunately but very sweet and helpful(black female around mid 20s) she was the only helpful person there. Very disappointing stay and waste of money. Search elsewhere for a hotel/motel

Elevator was out of service and we were put on the 5th floor. The hotel doesn’t seem to be kept up and quite a few people just hanging out behind the hotel in the parking lot.

The elevator was out of order so I had to carry my bags up the stairs, "luckily" the room was on the second floor and not higher. The hallway had an odor. The carpet in my room was clearly not vacuumed in a long time and had stains on it, the floor in the bathroom clearly hadn't been cleaned in a long time and there were paint splatters on the floor. The bedside tables and the phone and clock were full of dust and were dirty. I was only there for one night as a stop-over on the way to somewhere else. One night was more than enough, would not stay at any LaQuinta again.

The hotel room was very nice and clean. The included breakfast got started late, and we had to skip it as we were on a schedule. Looked like the staff was having a hard time getting things together to open on time. We also could not find any staff to check out in the morning at the front desk, so I had to do it by phone. That being said, those we did interact with were pleasant. Location was good for our purpose.

Exceptional

Elevator did not work and I had to carry bags up to the 4th floor in a very hot stairwell. Roaches in the microwave. I heard a couple at the front desk complaining about bed bugs. Property is dirty. Trash everywhere.

Room was clean. Good breakfast and hot coffee Elevator was out of order which was a problem for my 65 year old mom. The stairwell smelled like piss even tho you could smell the cleaning agents. Also very noisy. Pool not accessible

The staff was nice. The elevator was out of order. The swimming pool was abandoned and looked disgusting. The air conditioning in my room was very very loud.

Nothing!!! That you had to go down to the first level for ice. My room smelled like smoke, and I saw roaches inside of the building.

I will Never be coming back here again. First the elevator was broken so I had to walk to my room. Next when I went to use the microwave there were roaches in the microwave and all over the tables. When I went to check out and asked for a Refund I was told I had to wait for a manager to authorize the refund. Then when I called the next day I was told the manager won’t be in until Monday. If I could give no stars I would have ! .

Yuck!

There were roaches in the room. I found one in my luggage! The floors were disgustingly dirty! The staff tried to be accommodating but they couldn’t refund me as I booked through another party.
