I stayed in the hostel part single room , wasn’t cheap but I think it was because of Chinese new year so not a lot of options anywhere apart from this , the place was not clean and the toilet shower smell so bad coming up from the drain , the bedding , pillow walls were not clean , pretty bad to be honest , it needs a total makeover , painting , new sheets etc and solve the plumbing issue for smell and it wouldn’t be too bad , the staff were all nice , but I can’t recommend a stay here unfortunately. Everything apart from the nice staffs

Nothing Not worth the 1 star I had to choose to review this on here. Worst night sleep and terrible lack of cleanliness is the headliner for this place. The photos of course online are either on here, Google reviews or Agoda are not the reality of the room at all. How it has an 8.0 rating on Agoda I will never know. We were desperate as all hotels were booked up and had to remain in the hotel. Starting off with the lack of cleanliness in the room made us lay on our own makeshift "bedding" to avoid laying on the bedsheets, using our own scarfs etc. Bedsheets, duvet cover and pillows had a musty smell like they hadn't been washed, with a pasty colour on them. Counter tops dusty with little hair and stains. Bathroom had a stench of something mixed in with drainage and things left on top of the shower bar, shower curtain/shower head/bin/ toilet bowl/ all not cleaned or left with stains or hair. No toilet paper. Towels smelt clean but one of them had some sort of 'blood' or dark colour stain so that was obviously not used. No sound insulation whatsoever and people's noise continued past 2am. There was water pipe noise all night on and off, at first thinking it was a big leak in the bathroom. It was that bad, we purposely remained out of the room/ hotel to avoid being in there more than we need to. Should of known better as soon as we walked in the reception we knew the photos and reviews were not the reality of the state of the hotel itself. Another person in our group got the single room and that was worse than ours. Their drain smell was so overpowering that as soon as he opened his door you could smell it in the corridor. Same issues he had with lack of cleanliness. I would be utterly shocked if any of the photos are the state of any of the rooms in this place.
